An electrophoretic analysis of 12 allozyme systems (14 loci, 40 alleles) was performed in the rodent genera Oryzomys and Oligoryzomys, in order to determine the levels of genetic variability within and among populations and species. One hundred and fifty-five individuals from 16 populations of Oryzomys russatus, Or. angouya, Oligoryzomys flavescens, and O1. nigripes species were trapped in nine Brazilian localities. Genetic divergence among populations, as well as the interpopulational gene diversity, was higher in Oryzomys than in Oligoryzomys. The dendrogram of the phenetic relationships among the 16 populations of these four species displays three clusters: the first one joins the O1. flavescens populations with those of O1. nigripes; the second groups the populations of Or. russatus, and the last assembles the populations of Or. angouya. The genetic parameters analyzed reveal that the species belonging to the genus Oryzomys are genetically more structured than those of Oligoryzomys, the latter presenting lower levels of intrademe genetic differentiation (G(ST)')  相似文献

【目的】大豆食心虫Leguminivora glycinivorella (Matsumura)是一种危害大豆的主要害虫,在中国北方地区危害较重。本研究旨在探讨大豆食心虫在中国东北不同地理种群间的遗传变异。【方法】测定了10个不同地理种群153个个体的线粒体细胞色素氧化酶亚基Ⅰ (mtCOI)基因的657 bp序列,利用DnaSP 5. 0和Arlequin 3. 5. 1. 2等软件对大豆食心虫种群间的遗传多样性、基因流水平和分子变异进行分析。【结果】结果表明:10个地理种群间的COI基因共有36个变异位点和17个单倍型,其中1个单倍型为10个种群所共享。总种群的单倍型多样性指数Hd为0.456,各地理种群单倍型多样度范围在0~0.634之间。总群体的固定系数Fst为0.12545,遗传分化系数Gst为0.06326,总基因流Nm为3.49,且各种群间的基因流均大于1,种群间基因交流的水平较高。【结论】大豆食心虫种群内遗传多样性水平处于中低等水平。总群体和各种群的Tajima’s D检验结果皆不显著,说明中国东北地区大豆食心虫在较近的历史时期内没有出现种群扩张现象。AMOVA分子变异分析结果表明,大豆食心虫的遗传分化主要来自种群内部,而种群间未发生明显的遗传分化。各地理种群的单倍型在系统发育树上和中介网络图上散布在不同的分布群中,缺乏明显的地理分布格局。各种群的遗传距离与地理距离之间没有显著线性相关性,种群间的基因交流并未受到地理距离的影响。  相似文献

Allozymes were used to investigate the genetic structure of 42 populations of the planktonic developing, Macaronesian periwinkle Littorina striata, throughout its entire geographic range (Azores, Madeira, Canary Islands and Cape Verde Islands). This periwinkle is presumed to have a high dispersal and gene flow potential, because it has a planktonic development. It is therefore expected to show little population genetic differentiation. Indeed, based on Wright's hierarchical F-statistics, no significant genetic differentiation could be detected among populations, at any of the specified hierarchical levels (i.e. population, island, and archipelago). Nevertheless, the Cape Verde Islands seemed genetically more diverse (highest mean number of alleles per locus). The number of loci revealing a significant genetic heterogeneity increased with increasing distance between populations, while private alleles based gene flow (Nm) estimates also revealed a tendency towards a geographical pattern. The distribution of rare and private alleles, might account for these observations which suggested some geographical effect. Because of the low frequency at which these alleles occur, their influence on the genetic population structure is negligible, and not picked up by F-statistics.  相似文献

The population genetic structure of Anopheles darlingi, the major human malaria vector in the Neotropics, was examined using seven microsatellite loci from nine localities in central and western Amazonian Brazil. High levels of genetic variability were detected (5-25 alleles per locus; H E = 0.519-0.949). There was deviation from Hardy-Weinberg Equilibrium for 59.79% of the tests due to heterozygote deficits, while the analysis of linkage disequilibrium was significant for only two of 189 (1.05%) tests, most likely caused by null alleles. Genetic differentiation (F ST = 0.001-0.095; Nm = 4.7-363.8) indicates that gene flow is extensive among locations < 152 km apart (with two exceptions) and reduced, but not absent, at a larger geographic scale. Genetic and geographic distances were significantly correlated (R(2) = 0.893, P < 0.0002), supporting the isolation by distance (IBD) model. The overall estimate of Ne was 202.4 individuals under the linkage disequilibrium model, and 8 under the heterozygote excess model. Analysis of molecular variance showed that nearly all variation (approximately 94%) was within sample locations. The UPGMA phenogram clustered the samples geographically, with one branch including 5/6 of the state of Amazonas localities and the other branch the Acre, Rond?nia, and remaining Amazonas localities. Taken together, these data suggest little genetic structure for An. darlingi from central and western Amazonian Brazil. These findings also imply that the IBD model explains nearly all of the differentiation detected. In practical terms, populations of An. darlingi at distances < 152 km should respond similarly to vector control measures, because of high gene flow.  相似文献

In species acting as hosts of infectious agents, the extent of gene flow between populations is of particular interest because the expansion of different infectious diseases is usually related to the dispersal of the host. We have estimated levels of gene flow among populations of the sigmodontine rodent Oligoryzomys flavescens, in which high titers of antibodies have been detected for a Hantavirus in Argentina that produces a severe pulmonary syndrome. Enzyme polymorphism was studied by means of starch gel electrophoresis in 10 populations from the area where human cases of Hantavirus have occurred. Genetic differentiation between populations was calculated from FST values with the equation Nm = [(1/FST−1]/4. To assess the relative importance of current gene flow and historical associations between populations, the relationship of population pairwise log Nm and log geographic distance was examined. Low FST (mean = 0.038) and high Nm (15.27) values suggest high levels of gene flow among populations. The lack of an isolation by distance pattern would indicate that this species has recently colonized the area. The northernmost population, located on the margin of a great river, shows very high levels of gene flow with the downstream populations despite the large geographic distances. Passive transport of animals down the river by floating plants would promote unidirectional gene flow. This fact and the highest mean heterozygosity of that northernmost population suggest it is a center of dispersal within the species' range. 黄胫小车蝗Oedaleus infernalis Saussure是一种在我国分布广泛、 对农牧业生产危害严重的经济害虫。本文对黄胫小车蝗10个地理种群的线粒体COI基因序列进行测序和分析, 利用DnaSP 5.0和Arlequin 3.5.1.2软件对该蝗虫种群间的遗传多样性、 遗传分化程度、 基因流水平及分子变异进行了分析, 建立了单倍型贝叶斯系统发育进化树和单倍型网络图。结果表明: 在所分析的144个序列样本中, 共检测到21种单倍型, 其中1种单倍型为10个地理种群所共享。总群体的单倍型多样性指数为0.653, 各地理种群单倍型多样度范围在0.423~0.790之间。总群体和各种群的Tajima’s D检验结果皆不显著, 说明该种害虫在较近的历史上未经历群体扩张。总群体的遗传分化系数Gst为0.04436, 固定系数Fst为0.05255, 基因流Nm为9.01。AMOVA分子方差分析结果表明, 黄胫小车蝗的遗传分化主要来自种群内部, 种群间的遗传变异水平较低。各地理种群的遗传距离的大小与其地理距离间没有显著的相关性。贝叶斯系统发育进化树与单倍型网络图显示, 黄胫小车蝗各地理种群中的单倍型散布在不同的分布群中, 分布格局较为混杂, 未形成明显的系统地理结构。研究结果揭示, 黄胫小车蝗各种群间的基因交流并未受到地理距离的影响。  相似文献

【目的】双斑长跗萤叶甲Monolepta hieroglyphica为多食性害虫,可取食为害多种农作物。本研究旨在探究中国南方地区分布的双斑长跗萤叶甲地理种群的遗传多样性、遗传结构及种群间的遗传分化程度与基因流水平,探究共生菌Wolbachia在中国南方双斑长跗萤叶甲地理种群中的多样性和感染情况。【方法】以线粒体COII基因作为分子标记,对中国南方双斑长跗萤叶甲14个地理种群403头个体的COII基因片段进行PCR扩增及测序,分析单倍型多样性(Hd)、种群间遗传分化指数(Fst)和基因流(Nm),并进行分子方差分析 (AMOVA)以及Tajima’s D和Fu’s Fs中性检验,构建单倍型中介网络关系图及系统发育树。PCR扩增Wolbachia的wsp基因,对供试种群进行Wolbachia感染率检测,并利用获得的wsp基因序列进行Wolbachia株系区分和系统发育分析。【结果】在供试的双斑长跗萤叶甲403头个体中共检测到23种COII基因单倍型,在系统进化上分成两大分支。总种群Hd为0.748,各种群的Hd在0.394~0.782间。中性检验结果表明种群在进化上遵循中性模型,在较近的历史时期内没有经历明显的群体扩张事件。总种群的Fst为0.2481,Nm为0.76,AMOVA结果表明种群间的遗传分化主要来自种群内部,占方差比率的73.75%。种群间的遗传距离与地理距离间无显著相关性(R=0.2898,P=0.0640)。14个地理种群的Wolbachia感染率在92.59%~100%之间,平均感染率为97.60%;基于wsp基因序列,在检测的感染个体中共发现6种Wolbachia株系(wMhie1~ wMhie6),均属于A大组,这6种株系与已知的代表性株系区别明显而在系统发生树中单独聚为一个分支。【结论】中国南方双斑长跗萤叶甲种群遗传多样性较高,多数种群间存在明显的遗传分化,种群间基因交流较低,遗传分化与地理隔离之间无显著相关性。Wolbachia在中国南方双斑长跗萤叶甲种群中具有很高的感染率及丰富的感染类群。  相似文献

采用ISSR分子标记,对七筋菇(Clintonia udensis)17个居群的遗传多样性与遗传结构进行了研究。结果表明:七筋菇不同居群的多态位点百分率PPB为11.90%~59.52%,总的多态位点百分率PPB为98.8%,具有高的遗传多样性。Shannon多样性指数(0.6903)和基因分化系数(GST=0.6944)均揭示出七筋菇居群间存在明显的遗传差异,AMOVA分析结果也显示遗传变异主要发生在居群之间(81.47%),而居群内部的遗传变异仅为18.53%。七筋菇居群间的遗传距离从0.1871~0.6632,平均为0.3838,大于同一物种居群间的平均遗传距离值(0.05),同样表明七筋菇居群间的遗传多样性存在较大差异。七筋菇居群间的基因流Nm=0.2200,远远低于一般广布种植物的基因流(Nm=1.881)。Mantel检测显示居群间的遗传距离与地理距离之间没有显著相关性(r=0.029,P=0.3196)。七筋菇分布范围广以及其进化历史是其具有高遗传多样性的原因;居群间存在较高遗传变异可能是由于七筋菇本身的生物学特性、有限的基因流以及遗传漂变等原因造成的。  相似文献

【目的】葱斑潜蝇Liriomyza chinensis是葱蒜类蔬菜上的重要经济害虫,在我国广泛分布。本研究旨在阐析中国葱斑潜蝇的地理种群遗传分化。【方法】以中国8省12个不同地理种群的253头葱斑潜蝇为样本,测定其mtCOI基因序列;依据获得的mtCOI基因序列,利用MEGA7.0, DnaSP 6.1和Arlequin 3.5等软件对葱斑潜蝇地理种群的遗传多样性、基因流水平和遗传变异等进行分析。【结果】在253头个体的759 bp mtCOI基因片段中,获得13个单倍型,各单倍型间K2P遗传距离均小于0.02;其中单倍型Hap1为12个地理种群所共享,总发生频率高达81.82%。总群体单倍型多样性较低(Hd=0.327),核苷酸多样性(Pi)为0.00159,核苷酸平均差异数(K)为1.21011;葱斑潜蝇总群体遗传分化程度中等(FST=0.06971),基因交流较充分(Nm=3.33629)。分子方差分析(AMOVA)结果表明,遗传变异来源为群体内;总群体Tajima’s D检验值为显著负值;Mantel检测结果说明种群间的遗传距离与地理距离没有相关性。【结论】中国葱斑潜蝇地理种群的遗传多样性较低,基因交流较充分,遗传分化程度中等,且地理距离并不影响其遗传分化程度;葱斑潜蝇总群体在较近的历史时期未经历明显的种群扩张和种群增长。  相似文献

We used mitochondrial DNA control region sequences to examine phylogeography and population differentiation of the endangered Amazonian manatee Trichechus inunguis. We observe lack of molecular differentiation among localities and we find weak association between geographical and genetic distances. However, nested clade analysis supports restricted gene flow and/or dispersal with some long-distance dispersal. Although this species has a history of extensive hunting, genetic diversity and effective population sizes are relatively high when compared to the West Indian manatee Trichechus manatus. Patterns of mtDNA haplotype diversity in T. inunguis suggest a genetic disequilibrium most likely explained by demographic expansion resulting from secession of hunting and enforcement of conservation and protective measures. Phylogenetic analysis of T. manatus and T. inunguis haplotypes suggests that T. inunguis is nested within T. manatus, effectively making T. manatus a paraphyletic entity. Paraphyly of T. manatus and recent divergence times of T. inunguis and the three main T. manatus lineages suggest a possible need for a taxonomic re-evaluation of the western Atlantic Trichechus.  相似文献

The population genetic structure of two sympatric species of sigmodontine rodents (Oligoryzomys nigripes and Euryoryzomys russatus) was examined for mitochondrial DNA (mtDNA) sequence haplotypes of the control region. Samples were taken from three localities in the Atlantic Rain Forest in southern Brazil, along an altitudinal gradient with different types of habitat. 甘肃鼢鼠(Myospalax cansus)是一种终年营地下独居生活的小型掘土类动物。本文通过测定mt DNA的控制区部分序列(530 bp)变异,分析青海东部地区8个甘肃鼢鼠地理种群遗传多样性与遗传结构。158个样本共发现26个变异位点,定义了39种单倍型,整体的平均单倍型多样性高(h=0.953 2)、核苷酸多样性低(π=0.006 36)。歧点分布和中性检验均说明青海东部甘肃鼢鼠种群在历史上存在着快速扩张的事件。基于邻接法构建的网络关系图中,单倍型呈星状分布,没有按地理位置形成对应类群。基因流(Nm)数据显示多数地理种群间基因交流贫乏,AMOVA结果显示种群内与种群间遗传变异分别为48.82%和51.18%,遗传分化明显。IBD分析表明,甘肃鼢鼠的遗传分化与地理距离呈正相关,说明距离隔离对甘肃鼢鼠种群分化具有重要作用。甘肃鼢鼠的这种遗传多样性与种群遗传结构特点,可能是地下生活方式靠挖掘迁移带来的较小扩散能力的结果。  相似文献

Genetic variability measured by allozymic electrophoresis has been studied in several species of the subterranean rodent genus Ctenomys (Octodontidae). The study was carried out with the main purpose of analysing a special group known as the 'Corrientes group' which inhabits the province of Corrientes in Argentina. The members of the group are, with high probability, isolated reproductively due to their karyotypic differences diploid numbers are between 42 and 70). To evaluate whether the chromosomal differences were the causes of speciation or if they arose a posteriori, we compared the level of the genetic distance among taxa within the orrientes group with all those measured between intraspecific populations in Ctenomys . The results indicate that the distances among the populations of the Corrientes group are at or below the level of those measured among traspecific populations in Ctenomys . Thus, it is unlikely that genetic differentiation triggered speciation. It is shown that this low level of genetic differentiation is not in contradiction with the high levels expected for species originating from one of the possible mechanisms of chromosomal speciation named, chromosomal transilience. Although for geographical reasons it seems obviousthat gene flow is precluded among the members of the Corrientes group, the Slatkin method for estimating Nm values was also used. Because high values of Nm exist but no isolation by distance could be detected, it is suggested that reproductive and geographical isolation are very ecent. Finally, analysis of population variability suggests that the high levels of heterozygosity observed (a) can be explained by the population structure, and (b) are within the range of expected values if bottlenecks have occurred in the recent history of the Corrientes group. As a general conclusion, the results indicate that in the Corrientes group the genetic data support a putative causal role for chromosomes in speciation.  相似文献

【目的】基于mtDNA COI和COⅡ的联合序列,探讨中国南方茶棍蓟马Dendrothrips minowai地理种群的遗传多样性与遗传分化。【方法】利用MEGA 6.0, DnaSP 5.10和Arlequin 3.5.2.2等软件对中国南方茶棍蓟马8个地理种群遗传多样性、遗传分化、基因流、分子变异及地理距离与遗传距离的相关性进行分析,并推断群体演化历史。【结果】茶棍蓟马mtDNA COI和COⅡ序列均具有明显的AT偏好性,COI和COⅡ联合序列的长度为1 146 bp,共有22个单倍型。中国南方茶棍蓟马总群体遗传多样性较高,表现出高单倍型多样性(Hd=0.924)和低核苷酸多样性(π=0.00600)。8个地理种群总群体的遗传分化程度高(FST=0.84830),基因交流水平低(Nm=0.040),群体可能由于遗传漂变而发生明显分化。AMOVA分析显示,茶棍蓟马种群的遗传变异主要来自组间种群(FCT=0.84922);Mantel检测显示地理距离与遗传距离存在显著的正相关(r=0.5029, P<0.01)。中性检验结果表明,除云南两个地理种群外的其他地理种群近期可能经历了种群扩张。【结论】中国南方茶棍蓟马地理种群遗传多样性较高,具有明显的遗传分化,基因交流较少;地理距离可能是影响茶棍蓟马地理种群遗传分化的主要因素之一。  相似文献

Interpopulational gene flow within a species can reduce population differentiation due to genetic drift, whereas genetic exchange among taxa can impede speciation. We used allozyme data to estimate gene flow within and among geographic races and species of perennial herbs in the Ipomopsis aggregata complex (Polemoniaceae). Estimates of interpopulational gene flow within taxa from two methods (F statistics and private alleles) were correlated with one another. Gene flow among populations within each geographic race (subspecies) of I. aggregata was relatively high (Nm greater than approximately 1.0). Gene flow was also high among populations of I. arizonica and among four northern populations of I. tenuituba. However, gene flow was low (Nm less than 1.0) for I. tenuituba when a population representing subsp. macrosiphon was included. This is consistent with previous findings that subsp. macrosiphon has had an independent origin and is reproductively, as well as geographically, isolated. A recently developed model, based on hierarchical F statistics, was employed to estimate genetic exchange among taxa. Gene flow estimates were generally high among races of I. aggregata (dNmrace greater than 1.0) but were low among subspecies of I. tenuituba (dNmrace less than 1.0). Consistent with morphological evidence, estimates of interspecific gene flow were moderate between I. aggregata and I. tenuituba, which hybridize in several areas. However, contrary to morphological evidence, we estimated relatively high levels of interspecific gene flow involving I. arizonica. Understanding the genetic structure of a species is crucial for evolutionary biology research and species conservation. The objectives of this study were to investigate the genetic structure of Neothraupis fasciata in Brazilian savannas and to assess genetic differentiation of its disjunct population in the Amazonian savannas of the state of Amapá. Population genetic structure was assessed in relation to isolation by distance and landscape variables connected with habitat heterogeneity. The influences of factors, such as habitat fragmentation and core–periphery distribution, on genetic diversity were also examined. Data were derived from a set of microsatellite loci of adult individuals from nine localities: eight distributed across the Cerrado and one in the disjunct Amazonian savanna of Amapá. Analysis revealed moderate genetic diversity and moderate population genetic structure, with at least two genetic clusters, one of which is represented exclusively by the disjunct Amapá population. The genetic structure found is not the result of significant influences by geographical distance, habitat heterogeneity, or the core–periphery effect, nor by intense biome fragmentation due to anthropic action. The disjunct Amapá population exhibited a moderate level of genetic differentiation compared to the Cerrado population, suggesting that both can be considered distinct evolutionarily significant units for conservation purposes. The assessment of population structure and genetic diversity is crucial for the management and conservation of threatened species. Natural and artificial barriers to dispersal (i.e., gene flow) increase populations’ differentiation and isolation by reducing genetic exchange and diversity. Freshwater ecosystems are highly fragmented because of human activities. Threatened species with small population sizes are more sensitive to habitat fragmentation effects. Here, we investigate the genetic population structure and gene flow among seven populations of Aphanius sophiae in the Kor Basin by using sequences of the complete Cyt b gene and otolith morphometry. The Cyt b gene showed low level of genetic variation, only 4.12% of the identified sites were variable, and 2.42% were parsimony informative. Overall, haplotype diversity was low to moderate and nucleotide diversity was low to extremely low. Fish populations exhibited high levels of genetic differentiation, suggesting limited gene flow among them. These differences were obtained not only among geographically distant populations, but also among neighboring localities. Genetic population structure was supported by the AMOVA analysis and by the haplotype network (only one of 21 haplotypes were shared by two localities). Otolith morphometric analysis was in agreement with genetic results, the two most distant and isolated populations were clearly separated, and genetically close populations showed less differences in morphometry. A significant pattern of isolation by distance was also detected among A. sophiae populations, with genetic distance more correlated with hydrological distance than with geographic distance. Results suggested that limited gene flow due to habitat fragmentation is an important factor contributing to genetic structuring and to the loss of genetic variation of A. sophiae populations. Aphanius sophiae population structure seems to be the result of habitat fragmentation and water pollution, but other factors such as introduced species should be considered. Given the high degree of genetic structuring, the definition of conservation groups is of particular importance for A. sophiae, which should be considered endangered according to the IUCN criteria. Conservation plans must recognize the genetic independence of populations and manage separately preventing the loss of locally adapted genotypes.  相似文献

Phylogenetic analyses of complete mitochondrial cytochrome b sequences support the monophyly of pocket gopher (Thomomys bottae) populations from the 1000 km length of the Baja California peninsula of Mexico, relative to other geographical segments of the species range in western North America. The Baja California peninsula is an area that encompasses considerable ecomorphological and infraspecific diversity within this pocket gopher species. However, detailed population analyses encompassing 35 localities distributed over the southern half of the peninsula reveal only trivial phylogeographical structure. Rather, most of the 72 unique 500-base pair haplotypes examined from 142 individuals is restricted to single populations, although a few haplotypes are shared broadly across geography. Individual populations are typically comprised of haplotype sets from different branches in a network of relationships. Analysis of molecular variance (amova) indicates that approximately half of the total pool of variation is contained among individuals within local populations, and that only about 25% can be explained by the regional subdivisions of current subspecies distributions or physiographic realms. A hypothesized historical vicariant event that has been causally linked to the phylogeographical structure of other, codistributed species has had little influence on these pocket gopher populations, explaining only 13% of the total variation. The temporal depth, estimated by coalescence parameters, of the haplotype lineage in Baja California is relatively recent, approximately 300,000 generations; both the mismatch distribution of pairwise comparisons and a significantly positive exponential growth estimate support a recent history of expanding populations; but current, or recent past, migration estimates have remained small, are largely unidirectional from north to south, and weak isolation by distance is present. All data suggest that pocket gophers have relatively recently invaded the southern half of peninsular Baja California, with the genetic signature of expansion still evident but with sufficient time having lapsed to result in a weak isolation by distance pattern. The geographical assemblage of sampled populations thus appears as a meta-population, with limited gene flow contrasting with random haplotype loss due to drift in small, localized populations.  相似文献

Sequence variation in the mitochondrial cytochrome b gene was examined in the arboreal spiny rat, Mesomys hispidus, collected at 15 sites along the Rio Juruá in western Amazonia, Brazil, to determine the importance of riverine barriers in the diversification of this taxon. Twenty individual haplotypes were uncovered, most of which were unique to single localities but some of which were shared among adjacent sites either along or across the river. Genealogical analyses suggest that gene flow is limited and, in combination with the unique distribution of most haplotypes, suggest that populations of this species are strongly substructured along the river. Thus, most sharing of haplotypes between adjacent localities is probably caused by historical association rather than to ongoing gene flow. Two haplotype clades were uncovered, but these correspond to headwaters versus mouth areas, not to opposite sides of the river, as would be expected by the Riverine Barrier Hypothesis. Moreover, haplotype sharing across the river was greater at its mouth than in the headwaters, a pattern opposite that expected if the river were a substantive barrier. Broader scale phylogeographic patterns of this species show that both clades have relationships to areas well outside the Rio Juruá basin. The chelonians are, in general, important for the economy of the traditional populations of the Amazon region, especially as a source of animal protein. Furthermore, sub-products, such as eggs and fat, are utilized in the manufacture of cosmetics, and the plastron and carapace are used in the manufacture of adornments. The freshwater turtle species Podocnemis sextuberculata, locally known as "ia?á" or "pitiú", is widely distributed in the Amazon Basin in Brazil and also in Colombia and Peru. This species is on the International Union for Conservation of Nature Red List in the category of vulnerable species. We examined the genetic variability and population structure of three populations represented by 64 individuals sampled from Reserva Federal de Abufari, Tapauá, Amazonas State; Reserva de Desenvolvimento Sustentável Mamirauá, Tefé, Amazonas State, and Terra Santa, Pará State. All of these are over 1000 km from each other. A partial 415-bp sequence of the mitochondrial gene ND1 was utilized as a molecular marker. Seven haplotypes were observed; the most common haplotype was shared by all the areas sampled, while the rarest haplotypes were represented by a single individual and were thus restricted to a single locality. The sharing of the most common haplotype, the high number of migrants (Nm) and the AMOVA results indicate a lack of genetic structure among the sampling localities. The levels of genetic variability observed were homogeneous among the sampling localities. These results (?(ST) and Nm) are compatible with what is known about the ecology of this species, which has a great migratory capacity.  相似文献
