Cystocarpic branches of a species of Gracilaria from Coquimbo, Chile, were cultured in vitro. A Polysiphonia-like life history was completed in about 6 months, but some abnormalities were observed: i. carpospores gave rise to plants producing either tetrasporangia and spermatangia, or tetrasporangia only; ii. tetraspores cultured without aeration developed into plants bearing spermatangia only; tetraspores cultured with aeration developed into 1:1 female and male gametophytes; iii. plant originated from tetraspore produced spermatangia and tetrasporangia; one of these tetraspores developed into a male gametophyte; iv. some tetraspores gave rise to spherical bodies instead of the ordinary cylindrical branches; one of them bore spermatangia after three months. The results show that environmental factors seem to be interfering with the mechanism of sex determination and induce the development of spermatangia on putative female gametophytes, or on putative tetrasporophytes. Summary Effects of temperature and seedling age on survival of perennial ryegrass (Lolium perenne L.) seedlings grown on sand-wheat wholemeal cultures of different isolates ofFusarium spp. (9 isolates),Pythium spp. (9 isolates), andChaetomium spp. (1 isolate) are reported. Some isolates were virulent over the whole range of temperatures tested (7.5–27.5°C). The virulence of others depended on temperature. Most isolates were less virulent at intermediate temperatures (12.5–22.5°C) than at higher or lower temperatures. At 25°C ryegrass seedlings were susceptible to fungal attack for only a limited period after germination commenced. This period differed for different fungi, but for most isolates tested, seedlings were resistant after 2–3 days.  相似文献

Six economically important species ofGracilaria, from a number of commercial sources around the world, andGracilariopsis lemaneiformis, collected from two Japanese localities, were used as the sources of raw material for the evaluation of agar quality. Agar-agar was extracted by pretreatment with various concentratrions of NaOH (0%, 3%, 5%, 7%, 10%) incubated at 80 °C for 2 h. Agar yield, viscosity, dynamic gelling and melting temperature and gel texture were determined for 1.5% agar gels. The highest agar yield was obtained fromG. gracilis from Argentina (39.5%), while the lowest was from BrazilianG. gracilis (13.37%). Dynamic gelling temperature was highest in the agar fromG. gracilis from Turkey (59 °C) and lowest in the non-alkali treated agar isolated fromG. edulis from Indonesia (46 °C). Melting temperature ranged from 96 °C in the agars from the JapaneseGracilariopsis andG. chilensis from Chile to 69 °C in the non-alkali treated agar fromG. edulis from Indonesia. In general, all species produced an agar with high gel strength after treatment with 5% NaOH, except forG. chilensis and the twoGracilariopsis species, which produced an agar with high gel strength after treatment with 3, 7 and 10% NaOH. The highest gel strength (2056 ± 13.6 cm–2) and hardest gel (261 ± 19.89 g mm–2) were obtained fromG. lemaneiformis from Japan (Oita Prefecture) after treatment with 7 and 10% NaOH respectively. The lowest gel strength (351 ± 93 cm–2) was obtained fromG. gracilis from Brazil after treatment with 3% NaOH. The softest gel (66.31 ± 9.63 g mm–2) was isolated fromG. tenuistipitata from China, after treatment with 3% NaOH. The most flexible gel (11.62 ± 0.31 g mm–2 × 102) was obtained fromG. chilensis from Chile after treatment with 3% NaOH.Author for correspondence  相似文献

Three isolates of Metarhiziumanisopliae var. acridum, FI-985,from the spur-throated locust, Austracrisguttulosa from Australia, and QF-01 and QF-02both from Schistocerca piceifrons inMexico were compared. FI-985 had much largerconidia than the other two isolates and alsohad a different colony appearance. The twoMexican isolates showed small differences inconidial size and colony morphology. Over arange of 6 primers, RAPDs patterns were verysimilar in that the two Mexican isolates being identical, and FI-985 having some unique bandsonly with 2 primers. The 3 isolates were alsosimilar in growth profiles on agar plates, andat high temperatures (36°C), QF-01 didnot grow while the other two isolates grewslowly. All three isolates were similar invirulence for wingless grasshoppers, Phaulacridium vittatum, at 20–30°C but at 35°C, FI-985 was the mostvirulent and QF-01 the least over a range of 3doses. At 15°C, FI-985 was also the mostvirulent with QF-02 being least virulent. At30°C, the LD50 at 17 days rangedfrom 248 conidia for QF-02 to 501 conidia forFI-985, however the differences were notsignificant (p > 0.05). It is suggested thatconsideration should be given to using anexotic isolate such as FI-985 as a commerciallocust biopesticide in countries such asMexico, since the isolate is cheap to massproduce, more effective at higher temperaturescommon in tropical to subtropical Mexico, andrelatively resistant to UV.  相似文献

Tapesia yallundae var.yallundae is newly recorded from wheat stubble collected near Moorresburg in the western Cape Province of South Africa. Apothecia were observed on wheat stubble incubated for 8 months at 10°C under near-ultraviolet light. Single ascospore isolates produced colonies typical of the Wheat (W)-type in culture. Apothecia were also induced after single-conidial isolates were mated on wheat stubble and incubated at 10–15°C for 6 months. All single-conidial isolates were of the W-pathotype (Ramulispora herpotrichoides var.herpotrichoides).  相似文献

A new group of anaerobic thermophilic bacteria was isolated from enrichment cultures obtained from deep sea sediments of Peru Margin collected during Leg 201 of the Ocean Drilling Program. A total of ten isolates were obtained from cores of 1–2 m below seafloor (mbsf) incubated at 60°C: three isolates came from the sediment 426 m below sea level with a surface temperature of 9°C (Site 1227), one from 252 m below sea level with a temperature of 12°C (Site 1228), and six isolates under sulfate-reducing condition from the lower slope of the Peru Trench (Site 1230). Strain JW/IW-1228P from the Site 1228 and strain JW/YJL-1230-7/2 from the Site 1230 were chosen as representatives of the two identified clades. Based on the 16S rDNA sequence analysis, these isolates represent a novel group with Thermovenabulum and Caldanaerobacter as their closest relatives. The temperature range for growth was 52–76°C with an optimum at around 68°C for JW/IW-1228P and 43–76°C with an optimum at around 64°C for JW/YJL-1230-7/2. The pH25C range for growth was from 6.3 to 9.3 with an optimum at 7.5 for JW/IW-1228P and from 5 to 9.5 with an optimum at 7.9–8.4 for JW/YJL-1230-7/2. The salinity range for growth was from 0% to 6% (w/v) for JW/IW-1228P and from 0% to 4.5% (w/v) for JW/YJL-1230-7/2. The G+C content of the DNA was 50 mol% for both JW/IW-1228P and JW/YJL-1230-7/2. DNA–DNA hybridization yielded 52% similarity between the two strains. According to 16S rRNA gene sequence analysis, the isolates are located within the family, Thermoanaerobacteriaceae. Based on their morphological and physiological properties and phylogenetic analysis, it is proposed that strain JW/IW-1228PT is placed into a novel taxa, Thermosediminibacter oceani, gen. nov., sp. nov. (DSM 16646T=ATCC BAA-1034T), and JW/YJL-1230-7/2T into Thermosediminibacter litoriperuensis sp. nov. (DSM 16647T =ATCC BAA-1035T).An erratum to this article can be found at  相似文献

The KT 2 strain of thermophilic spore-forming bacteria was isolated from a biofilm on the surface of a corroded pipeline in an extremely deep well (4680 m, 40–72°C) in the Urals. The cells are rod-shaped, motile, gram-variable. They grow on a complex medium with tryptone and yeast extract and on a synthetic medium with glucose and mineral salts without additional growth factors. The cells use a wide range of organic substances as carbon and energy sources. They exhibit a respiratory metabolism but are also capable of anaerobic growth on a nitrate-containing medium. Growth occurs within the 40–75°C temperature range (with an optimum of 65°C) and at pH 5–9. The minimum generation time (15 min) was observed at pH 7.5. Ammonium salts, nitrates, and arginine are used as nitrogen sources. The G+C content of the DNA is 54.5 mol %. From the morphological, physiological, and biochemical properties and the nucleotide sequence of the 16S rRNA gene, it was concluded that the isolate KT 2 represents a new species of the genus Geobacillus, Geobacillus uralicus.  相似文献

Relative growth rates (RGRs), yields and agar characteristics of threegracilarioid isolates (Gracilariopsis sp. from St. Helena Bay, and Gracilaria gracilis isolates from Langebaan Lagoon and Saldanha Bay) weremeasured to assess the suitability of a site in St. Helena Bay for suspendedcultivation. The gracilarioids were grown on polypropylene ropes and`netlon' lines, and the RGRs were 4.0–11.0% d-1 and 5.0–7.0%d-1, respectively. The RGR of the Langebaan isolate of G. gracilis grown on ropes was significantly higher than the RGR of otherisolates. The mean net yield for the Langebaan isolate grown on `netlon'lines was 2.6 ± 0.9 kg wet wt m-2 30 day-1. Thecultured gracilarioids were extracted for native and alkali treated agars. Themean native agar yield over the entire period was 39.0% dry wt. Alkalipretreatment reduced the yield by 55%, but significantly increased gelstrength. High gel strengths (>750 g cm-2) were measured inagars from Gracilariopsis sp. and Saldanha Gracilaria gracilis inmid-summer and winter. The dynamic gelling and melting temperatures ofnative and alkali treated agars varied among the gracilarioids. The meangelling and melting temperatures of agars were about 39.0 °C and86.0 °C, respectively. The 3,6-AG content ranged from 29% to38% for native agars and 34–45% for alkali treated agars. While theseresults indicate that this site is suitable for gracilarioid cultivation, occasionallow-oxygen events in St. Helena Bay lead to production of hydrogensulphide in the sea water (`black tides'). Such events killed most inshorebiota (including seaweeds) in 1994 and 1998. This frequency (on average1–2 per decade) and duration (maximum 2 weeks) would have to beconsidered in planning commercial seaweed farming in St. Helena Bay.  相似文献

The combined effects of host age and rearing temperature upon the encapsulation of eggs of Metaphycus swirskii Annecke & Mynhardt (Hymenoptera: Encyrtidae) by the hemispherical scale, Saissetia coffeae (Walker) (Homoptera: Coccidae), were determined. Encapsulation incidence at 16, 20, 24 and 28°C increased with the age of the host, being 5.5–19.6% in 3rd instar nymphs, 45.4–74.2% in young female scales and 88.8–100% in preovipositing female scales. Within each host physiological age range, encapsulation frequency was not materially influenced by most of the temperatures. At 32°C, regardless of host age, S. coffeae encapsulated 99.5 to 100% of parasitoid eggs. Complete immunity to successful parasitism by M. swirskii occurred at 20, 24, 28 and 32°C in preovipositing female scales and at 32°C in 3rd-instar nymphs and young female scales of S. coffeae.

A long-rod-shaped thermophilic microorganism, strain KW11, was isolated from a hot springs located in the Kawarayu, Gunma, Japan. Cloning and preliminary sequence analysis of 16S rDNA showed that this isolate belongs to the genus Thermus. The cells were 10–20 m long, about 0.8 m in diameter, and produced no pigment in contrast with most of the Thermus species previously reported. KW11 was an aerobic heterotroph and grew at temperatures ranging from 40–73°C, with optimal growth occurring at 68°C. The pH range for growth was from 5.8–8.9, with optimal growth around pH 7. KW11 was sensitive to ampicillin, penicillin G, kanamycin, and streptomycin. The G+C content of DNA was 69 mol%. The main fatty acids were 16:0 (52.9%), iso-15:0 (22.1%), and iso-17:0 (15.6%). The 16S rDNA sequence of KW11 showed 96.0, 95.8, and 95.4% similarity with the sequences of T. aquaticus, T. igniterrae, and T. thermophilus, respectively, and less than 95% with other Thermus species. The physiological differences and phylogenetic evidence indicated that strain KW11 represents T. kawarayensis, a novel species of the genus Thermus. The type strain is isolate KW11T (JCM12314, DSM16200).  相似文献

Xylanases of marine fungi of potential use for biobleaching of paper pulp   总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1
Microbial xylanases that are thermostable, active at alkaline pH and cellulase-free are generally preferred for biobleaching of paper pulp. We screened obligate and facultative marine fungi for xylanase activity with these desirable traits. Several fungal isolates obtained from marine habitats showed alkaline xylanase activity. The crude enzyme from NIOCC isolate 3 (Aspergillus niger), with high xylanase activity, cellulase-free and unique properties containing 580 U l–1 xylanase, could bring about bleaching of sugarcane bagasse pulp by a 60 min treatment at 55°C, resulting in a decrease of ten kappa numbers and a 30% reduction in consumption of chlorine during bleaching. The culture filtrate showed peaks of xylanase activity at pH 3.5 and pH 8.5. When assayed at pH 3.5, optimum activity was detected at 50°C, with a second peak of activity at 90°C. When assayed at pH 8.5, optimum activity was seen at 80°C. The crude enzyme was thermostable at 55°C for at least 4 h and retained about 60% activity. Gel filtration of the 50–80% ammonium sulphate-precipitated fraction of the crude culture filtrate separated into two peaks of xylanase with specific activities of 393 and 2,457 U (mg protein)–1. The two peaks showing xylanase activity had molecular masses of 13 and 18 kDa. Zymogram analysis of xylanase of crude culture filtrate as well as the 50–80% ammonium sulphate-precipitated fraction showed two distinct xylanase activity bands on native PAGE. The crude culture filtrate also showed moderate activities of -xylosidase and -l-arabinofuranosidase, which could act synergistically with xylanase in attacking xylan. This is the first report showing the potential application of crude culture filtrate of a marine fungal isolate possessing thermostable, cellulase-free alkaline xylanase activity in biobleaching of paper pulp.  相似文献

The teleomorph of Mycopappus quercus causing frosty mildew in Quercus acutissima is described as a new genus and species, Redheadia quercus, in the Sclerotiniaceae. Apothecia sprout from sclerotia on the fallen infected leaves kept for 10 months at 5°C and subsequent incubation at 15°C under diffused room light. Typical zonate lesions and multicellular propagules of M. quercus are produced on Q. acutissima, by mycelial inoculation using an isolate from a single ascospore, confirming the teleomorph–anamorphic connection. No significant differences are observed between cultured colonies of isolates from the ascospore and those from the propagule. Sclerotia and microconidia of the fungus are produced on culture media.  相似文献

The intrinsic rate of natural increase(rm) is useful to estimate the populationgrowth potential of insects and mites, whichmay help predict the outcome of pest-naturalenemy interactions. This study was conductedto determine how 12 constant temperatureregimes between 10–38 °C (± 0.5 °C) may differentially affect therm of the McDaniel spider mite, Tetranychus mcdanieli McGregor (Acarina: Tetranychidea), a common pest of raspberry, andits coccinellid predator, Stethoruspunctillum Weise (Coleoptera: Coccinellidae). Tetranychus mcdanieli survived tomaturity in the 14–36 °C range, comparedto the 14–32 °C range for S.punctillum. Survival above 24 °Cremained high for the spider mite, butdecreased markedly for the coccinellid. Tetranychus mcdanieli's range forreproduction was similar to its survival range, but S. punctillum failed to reproduce at14 °C and reproduced only poorlyat 16 °C. Offspring production peakedat 24 °C for both T. mcdanieli(average 152 eggs per female), and S.punctillum (280 eggs per female). At alltemperatures suitable for reproduction, femalelongevity of the coccinellid was greater thanthe spider mite, which was characterized byearlier/faster reproduction than thecoccinellid. As temperature increased, therm followed a typical asymmetricaldome-shape pattern, with maximum values of0.196 d–1 and 0.385 d–1at 30 °C and 34 °C, for S.punctillum and T. mcdanieli, respectively. For each species, therm-temperature relation was successfullymodelled using a curvilinear regressionequation previously shown to predictdevelopment rate. In both species, thedevelopment rate response to temperature has amajor influence on the temperature-rmrelationship. In the 16–32 °C rangesuitable for population growth of both species, the rm of T. mcdanieliwas 1.9 (30 °C) to 8 (16 °C) times greaterthan S. punctillum. These growthpotential ratios are consistently in favor ofthe prey, suggesting a limitation of thecoccinellid with respect to its capacity totrack T. mcdanieli populations. However, under short season conditions, the inferiorreproductive dynamics of S. punctillum'svs. spider mite prey should not have aprevailing influence in determining impact, andmay be compensated by high voracity incombination with a strong aggregativeresponse.  相似文献

Spore yields were measured for various fungal entomopathogens grown in six nutritionally different liquid media with low and high carbon concentrations (8 and 36 g l–1, respectively) at carbon-to-nitrogen (C:N) ratios of 10:1, 30:1 and 50:1. Six fungi were tested: two Beauveria bassiana strains, three Paecilomyces fumosoroseus strains and one Metarhizium anisopliae strain. Spore yields were examined after 2, 4 or 7 days growth. In general, highest spore yields were obtained in media containing 36 g/l and a C:N ratio of 10:1. After 4 days growth, highest spore yields were measured in the three Paecilomyces isolates (6.9–9.7 × 108 spores ml–1). Spore production by the B. bassiana isolates was variable with one isolate producing high spore yields (12.2 × 108 spores ml–1) after 7 days growth. The M. anisopliae isolate produced low spore concentrations under all conditions tested. Using a commercial production protocol, a comparison of spore yields for the coffee berry borer P. fumosoroseus and a commercial B. bassiana isolate showed that highest spore concentrations (7.2 × 108 spores ml–1) were obtained with the P. fumosoroseus isolate 2-days post-inoculation. The ability of the P. fumosoroseus strain isolated from the coffee berry borer to rapidly produce high concentrations of spores prompted further testing to determine the desiccation tolerance of these spores. Desiccation studies showed that ca. 80% of the liquid culture produced P. fumosoroseus spores survived the air-drying process. The virulence of freshly produced, air-dried and freeze-dried coffee berry borer P. fumosoroseus blastospores preparations were tested against silverleaf whiteflies (Bemisia argentifolii). While all preparations infected and killed B. argentifolii, fresh and air-dried preparations were significantly more effective. These results suggest that screening potential fungal biopesticides for amenability to liquid culture spore production can aid in the identification of commercially viable isolates. In this study, P. fumosoroseus was shown to possess the production and stabilization attributes required for commercial development.  相似文献

Three novel isolates of haloalkaliphilic archaea, strains IHC-005T, IHC-010, and N-1311T, from soda lakes in Inner Mongolia, China, were characterized to elucidate their taxonomic positions. The three strains were aerobic, Gram-negative chemoorganotrophs growing optimally at 37–45°C, pH 9.0–9.5, and 15–20% NaCl. Cells of strains IHC-005T/IHC-010 were motile rods, while those of strain N-1311T were non-motile pleomorphic flats or cocci. The three strains contained diphytanyl and phytanyl-sesterterpanyl diether derivatives of phosphatidylglycerol and phosphatidylglycerophosphate methyl ester. No glycolipids were detected. On phylogenetic analysis of 16S rRNA gene sequences, they formed an independent cluster in the Natro group of the family Halobacteriaceae. Comparison of their morphological, physiological, and biochemical properties, DNA G+C content and 16S rRNA gene sequences, and DNA-DNA hybridization study support the view that strains IHC-005T/IHC-010 and strain N-1311T represent separate species. Therefore, we propose Natronolimnobius baerhuensis gen. nov., sp. nov. for strains IHC-005T (=CGMCC 1.3597T =JCM 12253T)/IHC-010 (=CGMCC 1.3598=JCM 12254) and Natronolimnobius innermongolicus sp. nov. for N-1311T (=CGMCC 1.2124T =JCM 12255T).  相似文献

The susceptibility of the tick Boophilus microplus to Beauveria bassiana was evaluated by inoculating eggs, larvae and engorged females of the tick with five fungal isolates at concentrations of 106, 107 and 108 conidia/ml. Tick eggs (0.25 g) were immersed in 1 ml of a suspension of the different conidial concentrations for 1 min. Similar exposure was performed by immersion of 2000 larvae and homogeneous groups of nine engorged females in 2 and 20 ml of conidial suspension, respectively. Treated eggs, larvae and adults were placed in an incubator at 27 ± 1 °C and relative humidity above 80% for evaluation of the fungal action. All fungal isolates applied at all conidial concentrations reduced the hatching rate of larvae from treated eggs by 1.36–65.58% and increased the mortality rate of inoculated larvae by 0.8–70.49%. In the bioassay with engorged females, oviposition period was reduced by 9.69–47.80%, egg mass weight by 4.71–53.87%, estimated reproduction by 8.3–60.62%, egg production index by 5.03–54.20%, percent larval hatching by 0.27–13.96%, and the mortality rate of treated females was increased by 96.60–100%. The reduction of the estimated reproduction obtained for the treated groups ranged from 8.37 to 64.52%. The sporulation of the pathogen on dead females ranged from 3.70 to 88.88% depending on the isolate and concentration used. Isolates AM 09, CB 7 and JAB 07 were the most effective and effectiveness increased with increasing concentrations of conidia in the suspensions.  相似文献

The nature of the carbon monoxide- and oxygen-reacting haemoproteins in the respiratory chain of the filamentous antibiotic-producing bacterium Streptomyces clavuligerus has been investigated. CO-difference (i.e. CO+ reduced minus reduced) spectra of intact cells showed the presence of cytochrome aa 3, a CO binding b-type cytochrome, and a pigment resembling cytochrome d. In addition, cells that were approaching the end of the growth phase showed the presence of cytochrome P450: this pigment was undetectable in cells harvested early in the growth cycle. High speed centrifugation of cell-free extracts prepared from cells broken by sonication showed that cytochrome aa 3 was tightly membrane-bound and that cytochrome P450 was soluble. Inhibition of oxygen uptake rates of cells by cyanide indicated that one component, which showed 50% inhibition at 2–4 mM CN, was acting as major terminal oxidase: this was observed in cells harvested from all stages of growth. Photodissociation (i. e. photolysed, CO reduced minus CO reduced) spectra at-118°C, in the absence of oxygen, showed cytochrome aa 3 to be the sole photolysable CO-reacting haemoprotein. At higher temperature (-87°C), in the presence of oxygen, cytochrome aa 3 formed a complex with oxygen that could not be photolysed by similar intensities of light. By raising the temperature to-43°C, the oxidation of c-type cytochromes was observed. It is concluded that cytochrome aa 3 is the predominant terminal oxidase in S. clavuligerus and that the other CO reacting haemoproteins, of unknown function, are unlikely to be oxidases.  相似文献

Ninety-three isolates ofMetarhizium anisopliae, mostly derived from a survey of termite material, were screened for activity againstNasutitermes exitiosusandCoptotermes frenchiorC. acinaciformisusing a grooming assay technique. Twenty-six of the most promising isolates were further evaluated by bioassay againstN. exitiosusandC. acinaciformis. All isolates were pathogenic withCoptotermesspp. being more susceptible thanN. exitiosus.A group of nine isolates, chosen for their level of pathogenicity for one or other genus of termites and to represent a genetically diverse group, was finally compared in a minicolony test using termite colonies in 1 liter jars. The isolate, code-named FI-610 (derived from nest-mound material ofC. lacteusin SE New South Wales), was one of the most effective isolates against termites from both of the two colonies tested. This isolate also grew relatively well on agar plates at 36°C. FI-610 was thus selected for field trials and was found to be effective in killing colonies ofC. acinaciformiswhen 10 g (=3 × 1011conidia) or more of conidial powder was blown into the center of the large mound colonies.  相似文献

The growth, biochemical composition and fatty acid profiles of six Antarctic microalgae cultured at different temperatures, ranging from 4, 6, 9, 14, 20 to 30 C, were compared. The algae were isolated from seawater, freshwater, soil and snow samples collected during our recent expeditions to Casey, Antarctica, and are currently deposited in the University of Malaya Algae Culture Collection (UMACC). The algae chosen for the study were Chlamydomonas UMACC 229, Chlorella UMACC 234, Chlorella UMACC 237, Klebsormidium UMACC 227, Navicula UMACC 231 and Stichococcus UMACC 238. All the isolates could grow at temperatures up to 20 C; three isolates, namely Navicula UMACC 231 and the two Chlorella isolates (UMACC 234 and UMACC 237) grew even at 30 C. Both Chlorella UMACC 234 and Stichococcus UMACC 238 had broad optimal temperatures for growth, ranging from 6 to 20 C (μ = 0.19 – 0.22 day–1) and 4 to 14 C (μ = 0.13 – 0.16 day–1), respectively. In contrast, optimal growth temperatures for NaviculaUMACC 231 and Chlamydomonas UMACC 229 were 4 C (μ = 0.34 day–1) and 6–9 C (μ = 0.39 – 0.40 day–1), respectively. The protein content of the Antarctic algae was markedly affected by culture temperature. All except Navicula UMACC 231 and Stichococcus UMACC 238 contained higher amount of proteins when grown at low temperatures (6–9 C). The percentage of PUFA, especially 20:5 in Navicula UMACC 231 decreased with increasing culture temperature. However, the percentages of unsaturated fatty acids did not show consistent trend with culture temperature for the other algae studied.  相似文献
