The ganglia of the plexus myentericus (Auerbach) have their own self-acting vascularization in the form of periganglionic capillary networks. As to the architecture and density, they are quite different from the intramuscular capillary bed. Just as the arterial trunk and arcade vessels, the terminal arterioles and sphincter capillaries running into the periganglionic cappillary network are innervated by noradrenergic axons. Together with periganglionic arteriovenous short circuits, this means favorable prerequisites for a functionally adapted blood supply of the ganglia. The specific arrangement of intramuscular vessels and the plexus Auerbach effects the maintenance of the close topographic and functional relations between both systems in all cases of changes of the shape of the intestinal wall.  相似文献

The distribution of adrenergic fibres in the ganglionated plexuses of the porcine small intestine has been made on air-dried stretch preparations using the glyoxylic acid fluorescence method. Adrenergic fluorescent fibres occur in the ganglia and internodal strands of the three fundamental ganglionated plexuses: the myenteric plexus (Auerbach) and the two superimposed meshworks of the plexus submucosus , i.e. the plexus submucosus externus ( Schabadasch ) and the plexus submucosus internus (Meissner). The plexus Auerbach consists of densely glyoxylic acid induced fluorescent (GIF) elongated ganglia with in general a longitudinal axis running parallel to the circular muscle layer and large dense interconnecting fibre tracts with primary, secondary and tertiary subdivisions. In the ganglia, the fibres are varicose, forming large fluorescent 'baskets' which might be related to the occurrence of well defined enteric neurones. The plexus Schabadasch can be distinguished from the plexus Meissner by its size, strongly fluorescent ganglia and broad densely fluorescent internodal strands. The pattern of fluorescing ring-like formations at the margin and out of the nodes, clearly present in the Auerbach and Schabadasch plexuses, completely lack in the plexus Meissner, the latter being narrow-meshed with smaller fluorescent 'baskets', indicating that the corresponding neurones are smaller in size. In the ganglionic nodes of all three plexuses the axons display comparatively more varicosities than in the fibre tracts. Each of the three main ganglionated enteric plexuses are quite different with regard to the pattern of the adrenergic network both in the ganglia and in the strands.  相似文献

The feline gastric microvasculature was studied by corrosion of the injected vascular bed, which allowed evaluation of the vascular pattern of the different tunics. The serosal pattern consisted of numerous interconnected capillary vessels, forming a delicate network. Submucosal arteries supplied the muscular tunic through numerous anastomosing vessels that followed the direction of the smooth muscle fibers. The entire mucosal tunic was supplied by arterioles derived from the submucosal plexus; these gave rise to capillaries that surrounded the gastric glands and terminated in a diffuse, anastomosing subepithelial capillary network. Venules coursed through the mucosa in a perpendicular manner, forming submucosal veins.  相似文献

Using enzyme and immunohistochemical methods on whole-mount preparations and cryostat sections, a morphologic and semiquantitative study was performed of the nervous tissue in the appendix and the ileum (areas with and without Peyer's patches) of the rabbit. The plexus submucous externus (Meissner) consists of a network of small ganglia, vaguely associated with the vascular submucosal plexus. From the nerve cell bodies, cell processes occasionally penetrate the lymphoid follicles at the junction between the mucosa and the submucosa while other extensions form a dense plexus in the lamina propria of the mucosa. No nerve fibers are present in the dome of the follicles. The plexus submucous internus (Henle), consisting of large cell bodies and large processes, closely follows the blood vessels. The numeration of the nerve fibers of the submucosal plexus endorses the histological finding that the appendix is a richly innervated lymphoid organ. In addition, the plexus myentericus (Auerbach) of the appendix is a network of small meshes, while in the ileum, in the area of Peyer's patches, the same plexus is composed of a network with large meshes. These differences point to a higher density of innervation in the appendix. Yet a specialized anatomic distribution of the innervation of lymphoepithelial structures cannot be demonstrated.  相似文献

Summary The vascular microarchitecture of the human testis and excurrent duct system was examined by use of a casting method combined with scanning electron microscopy. In the testicular parenchyma, the capillaries form a fine plexus around the seminiferous tubules. The commonly described rope-ladder-like pattern of the peritubular capillaries is absent in the human testis. The microvasculature of the rete testis consists of a poorly organized plexus. Throughout the epididymis including the ductuli efferentes, the peritubular capillary network encircles each tubule cylindrically. In the cauda epididymidis, a coarse venous network surrounds the capillary network externally. Small arteries of the epididymis not only penetrate the connective tissue septa, but also run along the surface. In the ductus deferens, three distinct microvascular systems are distinguished: (1) a venous network located in the connective tissue surrounding the muscular coat, (2) a microvascular plexus within the muscular coat, and (3) a peritubular capillary network. The plexus within the muscular coat interconnects the venous and the peritubular capillary networks.  相似文献

Each ganglion of the plexus Schabadasch is supplied by a specific periganglionic capillary network. Within the plexus Meissner, several ganglia are connected to circulation areas. The communicating branches of the plexus Schabadasch have their own capillary system; as to the plexus Meissner, this is valid for the cat only. The results allow to conclude that the centres of the intramural nervous system of the intestinal wall are equipped with a preferred and self-acting vascularization.  相似文献

The vascular plexus of the lateral ventricle of the human brain includes the microcirculatory bed responsible for the blood supply and liquor production of the organ. Blood capillaries form a thick parviansiform network of the plexus. Innervation of the vascular plexus of the cerebral lateral ventricle in human embryos and fetuses develops synchronously with formation of the plexus itself. The structural complexity of the nervous apparatus increases at the expense of increasing number of nervous fasciculi and single nervous fibers. By the time of birth the nervous apparatus of the plexus acquires a definitive character. After birth further improvement of the nervous apparatus takes place. The role of the microcirculatory bed and of the nervous apparatus of the vascular plexus in ensuring functional loadings and their participation in reactions to certain pathological effects is substantiated.  相似文献

Structural changes and hemodynamic relations have been studied in the microcirculatory bed of the white rat small intestine mesentery during sex maturation (from the 3d up to the 10th week of the postnatal development). All calculations are performed regarding the mesenteric segment limited with two intestinal arteries, which is considered as an elementary microvascular module. Complication of the microcirculatory bed construction takes place at the expense of increasing number (nearly five-fold) of microvessels in the segment and increase of the capillary network density. The hemodynamic factor plays a certain role for stimulating the process of the capillary growth. The definitive structure of the mesenteric microcirculatory bed is completed by the 7th week. The main rearrangement of the microcirculatory system during the developmental process from a simple arterio-venular loop up to a complex microcirculatory bed with a branching capillary network is performed within the limits of the mesenteric segment.  相似文献

The angioarchitecture of the neural stalk and the encephaloposthypophysial portal system of the hypophysis of the toad, Bufo bufo (L.), was studied using three different methods. The neural stalk is mainly supplied by branches of the arteria infundibularis superficialis which form a widemeshed vascular network. Dorsally this network continues into the plexus of the pars nervosa. The vascularization of the pars nervosa is made up of the encephalo-posthypophysial portal system. This portal system consists of a hypothalamic branch (=portion), a mesencephalic and a mesencephalicbulbar branch (=portion). The hypothalamic branch was found to drain the pars ventralis of the tuber cinereum as well as more dorsal regions of the diencephalon. The mesencephalic-bulbar trunk enters the hypothalamic branch. The resulting common stem of the encephalo-posthypophysial portal vein the curves around the retroinfundibular communicating artery, crosses its ventral side and runs caudally. The secondary capillary plexus of the pars nervosa is characterized by well defined capillary plexus of the pars nervosa is characterized by well defined capillary networks which are located at the periphery of the parenchyma of the pars nervosa, thus forming a rostral, dorsal and ventro-caudal net. The central region of the parenchyma of the pars nervosa is supplied only by main branches of the encephalo-postpophysial portal vein. The venous drainage of the pars nervosa is via the vena hypophysea transversa.  相似文献

In preparations impregnated with silver nitrate (25 corpses of mature persons), the hemomicrocirculatory bed of the intestine wall tunics has been stated to possess a layer-by-layer organization. The most powerful submucosal vascular plexus, formed by branches of the arteries perforating the external tunics of the intestine, supplies with blood all the layers of the intestinal wall and their main working and integrating elements: intestinal and duodenal glands, villi, neural ganglia and trunks of the submucosal and intermuscular plexuses. Summarizing morphometrical criteria for estimating the capillary bed of the tunics of all the anatomical parts and the large duodenal papilla, it is clear that there are specific conditions in microvascularization of the upper part of the organ.  相似文献

The juxtaposition of a dense capillary network to lung epithelial cells is essential for air-blood gas exchange. Defective lung vascular development can result in bronchopulmonary dysplasia and alveolar capillary dysplasia. Although vascular endothelial growth factor A (Vegfa) is required for formation of the lung capillary network, little is known regarding the factors that regulate the density and location of the distal capillary plexus and the expression pattern of Vegfa. Here, we show that fibroblast growth factor 9 (FGF9) and sonic hedgehog (SHH) signaling to lung mesenchyme, but not to endothelial cells, are each necessary and together sufficient for distal capillary development. Furthermore, both gain- and loss-of-function of FGF9 regulates Vegfa expression in lung mesenchyme, and VEGF signaling is required for FGF9-mediated blood vessel formation. FGF9, however, can only partially rescue the reduction in capillary density found in the absence of SHH signaling, and SHH is unable to rescue the vascular phenotype found in Fgf9(-/-) lungs. Thus, both signaling systems regulate distinct aspects of vascular development in distal lung mesenchyme. These data suggest a molecular mechanism through which FGF9 and SHH signaling coordinately control the growth and patterning of the lung capillary plexus, and regulate the temporal and spatial expression of Vegfa.  相似文献

Calcium-binding proteins are present in different neuron populations in the Central Nervous System. As concerns the Enteric Nervous System, only a few studies have been performed. In the present work we investigated immunohistochemically the localization of Calretinin in neurons of the human intestinal wall. Our results showed the presence of stained cell bodies and fibers with antibodies against Calretinin in the Auerbach plexus. Since most of the enteric neurons are characterized by a slow phase after hyperpolarization caused by Ca2+ dependent K+ channels, the role of Calretinin could be to modulate this particular electrophysiological behaviour.  相似文献

Age and local changes of the lymphatic bed have been studied in the jejunum and ileum preparations obtained from 100 rabbits. The architectonics of the bed is stated to undergo some age and local changes. In fetuses and two-week-old rabbits, chyle sinuses are narrow and all flow into the capillaries of the tela submucosa. In one-month-old animals, the mucosal capillary network is developing and the chyle sinuses flow into it. In six--ten-month-old rabbits, intestinal bed is already formed, the chyle sinuses are wide. Aged changes are represented by a considerably rarefied networks, decrease in the chyle sinuses caliber, deformation of the sinus, capillary and vessel walls. In the jejunum, unlike the ileum, the chyle sinuses are of larger size and have more complex architectonics in the capillary networks of the mucosa and tela submucosa.  相似文献

The vascularization of the brain and the pituitary region of the Australian lungfish, Neoceratodus forsteri is described from serial section reconstruction. The distal lobe has no direct arterial blood supply and receives blood solely from a pituitary portal system basically similar to that of other sarcopterygians. The primary capillary plexus of the median eminence receives its arterial blood from the infundibular arteries, which on their way distribute some small branches to the prechiasmatic region. The primary plexus also receives capillaries from the adjacent pial hypothalamic plexus. The primary capillary plexus of the median eminence comprises a rostral 'uncovered' and caudal 'covered' part which are not sharply delineated. Distinct portal vessels connect the 'uncovered' rostral part of the primary plexus with the secondary capillary plexus supplying the rostral subdivision of the pars distalis. The 'covered' caudal part of the primary plexus merges into the proximal subdivision of the pars distalis, apparently without formation of distinct portal vessels. The primary plexus has some connections with the plexus intermedius via a hypophysial stem capillary plexus. The plexus intermedius has a substantial arterial supply and gives off capillaries to the parenchyma of the pars intermedia. The adenohypophysis is drained into an unpaired hypophysial vein. The significance of the vascular pathways is discussed from comparative, functional, and evolutionary viewpoints.  相似文献

The structural basis for the permeability of the alveolar-capillary membrane to water-soluble solutes rests in part on the structure and function of its intercellular junctions and the pinocytotic vesicles within its cells. Intercellular junctions between endothelial cells of the pulmonary capillary bed differ both in permeability to enzyme tracers and in their structure. As determined by freeze fracture, the junctions in the arteriolar, capillary, and venular portion of the capillary network vary in complexity, and in the number of rows of particles constituting the junction. Because there are few particles associated with the junctions in the venular end of the capillary bed, these are considered to be the most permeable of the three types of vascular junctions. Epithelial junctions, in contrast, are impermeable to all enzyme tracers studied, and they are composed of a continuous, complex network of junctional fibrils. While intercellular junctions form seals of varying 'tightness,' pinocytotic vesicles provide a means for the transport of water-soluble macromolecules across the alveolar-capillary membrane.  相似文献

The structure of the oval in saithe is described with particular reference to its vascularisa-tion. The extent of the capillary plexus was found to be greater than previously estimated, covering about 40% of the internal surface area of the bladder. Morphometric assessment of the capillary network enabled estimation of flow rate using the Poiseuille equation. The low potential flow suggested in this work may be a limiting factor in gas loss from the swimbladder and may place restraints on vertical migration.  相似文献

The vascular architecture of the dermal laminae was studied by scanning electron microscopy of vascular corrosion casts. Ultrastructurally, the laminar vasculature consisted of arterioles, capillaries, venules and veins, arranged in a sheet-like network. Through the laminae, arterioles ran parallel to the solar surface and branched at two levels to form a continuous arteriolar arcade, parallel to the hoof wall. Capillaries originating from these arcades formed hairpin loops joining the marginal vein prior to forming an axially situated venous network. Additional capillaries were also given off by the arterioles, forming an abaxially arranged capillary plexus.  相似文献

Summary For the simultaneous demonstration of intramural enteric ganglion cells and the adrenergic nerve fibres in the porcine small intestine a combined histochemical method was developed using a hypertonic solution, the main chemicals of which were glyoxylic acid, Nitro-BT* and NADH. By means of the enzymatic histochemical method reaction for the NADH-dependent dehydrogenase activity with Nitro-BT as an electron acceptor, the identification of the three neuron types of Dogiel (i.e. type I, type II, type III) was for the first time realized in relation with the glyoxylic acid induced fluorescence (GIF) of the plexus myentericus (Auerbach) and the plexus submucosus externus (Schabadasch). Besides the close topographic relationship between the adrenergic varicose axons on the one hand and the perikarya and dendrites of the multidendritic uniaxonal type I cells characterized by radially oriented short and lamellar dendrites and the multidendritic uniaxonal type III cells, characterized by radially oriented long and tapering dendrites on the other hand, it is striking that for the adendritic multiaxonal type II cells the fluorescent varicose fibres adhere closer to the cell bodies and their processes. In principle, the relation between adrenergic varicose axons and neuron types is identical in plexus myentericus (Auerbach) and plexus submucosus externus (Schabadasch), yet with the exception that in the latter no type I neurons are observed.2,2-Di-p-nitrophenyl-5,5-diphenyl-3,3-(3,3-dimethoxy-4,4-diphenylene) ditetrazolium chloride  相似文献
