The complexes [Pt(dapo)2Cl2], [PtNH3(dapo)Cl2], [Pt(py)(dapo)Cl2], [Pt(mbpo)Cl2].H2O, [Pt(mbpo)(OH)2Cl2].H2O, [Pd(dapo)2Cl2], and [Pd(mbpo)Cl2], where dapo is dimethyl aminomethylphosphine oxide and mbpo is methyl bis(aminomethyl)phosphite oxide have been synthesized and characterized by elemental analyses, electric conductivity, infrared, 1H NMR and electronic spectra. The ligands are found to be coordinated only via the amino groups. The complexes are of cis-square planar configuration with the exception of [Pt(mbpo)(OH)2Cl2].H2O which is pseudo-octahedral. An in vivo antitumor screening of the complexes against Leukemia L1210 was performed. A considerable activity (T/C = 233%) was observed for [PtNH3(dapo)Cl2]. The activity of the remaining complexes was below the accepted criterion.  相似文献

A comparative study of the binding of square planar cis- and trans-[Pt(NH3)2Cl2] complexes and the octahedral [Ru(NH3)5(H2O)]3+ complex to tRNAphe from yeast was carried out by X-ray crystallography. Both of the carcinostatic compounds, cis-[Pt(NH3)2Cl2] and [Ru(NH3)5(H2O)]3+ show similarities in their mode of binding to tRNA. These complexes bind specifically to the N(7) positions of guanines G15 and G18 in the dihydrouridine loop. [Ru(NH3)5(H2O)]3+ has an additional binding site at N(7) of residue G1 after extensive soaking times (58 days). A noncovalent binding site for ruthenium is also observed in the deep groove of the acceptor stem helix with shorter (25 days) soaking time. The major binding site for the inactive trans-[Pt(NH3)Cl2] complex is at the N(1) position of residue A73, with minor trans-Pt binding sites at the N(7) positions of residues Gm34, G18 and G43. The similarities in the binding modes of cis-[Pt(NH3)2Cl2] and [Ru(NH3)5(H2O)]3+ are expected to be related to their carcinostatic properties.  相似文献

This paper reports on syntheses and characterization of chlorotribromo(O,O-n-butyl-ethylenediamine-N,N'-di-3-propanoate)platinum(IV) [II], dichlorodiiodo(O,O-n-butyl-ethylenediamine-N,N'-di-3-propanoate)platinum(IV) [III], and dichloro(O,O-n-butyl-ethylenediamine-N,N'-di-3-propanoate)platinum(II) [V] complexes, with the formulae [Pt(dbeddp)Br(3)Cl], [Pt(dbeddp)Cl(2)I(2)] and [Pt(dbeddp)Cl(2)], respectively. The complexes were characterized by elemental analysis, infrared, (1)H and (13)C NMR spectroscopy and electrospray mass spectrometry. In the aim to assess the selectivity in the antitumor action of these complexes, as well, as tetrachloro(O,O-n-butyl-ethylenediamine-N,N'-di-3-propanoate)platinum(IV) [I] and tetrachloro(O,O-n-pentyl-ethylenediamine-N,N'-di-3-propanoate)platinum(IV) [IV], the antiproliferative action of these compounds was determined to human adenocarcinoma HeLa cells, to human myelogenous leukemia K562 cells and to normal immunocompetent cells, i.e., on human peripheral blood mononuclear PBMC cells.  相似文献

A number of ruthenium complexes were tested for their ability to induce filamentation in Escherichia coli. These included monomeric and dimeric complexes with ruthenium in the II or III oxidation states, as well as mixed-valence complexes with ruthenium in the (II,III) oxidation states. In general, dimeric mixed-valence Ru(II,III) complexes were the most active class of compound, although some complexes of this type were relatively inactive. These were pyrazine- or bipyridyl-bridged complexes which are known to involve strong metal-ligand interaction, which stabilizes the Ru(II) oxidation state. Some Ru(III) complexes were also significantly active in induction of filamentous growth in E. coli. One of these was [Ru(NH3)5Cl]Cl2, which did not inhibit electron transport, Mg2+-ATPase activity or DNA synthesis in E. coli, but like [Ru2(NH3)6Br3]Br2 X H2O was a potent inhibitor of respiration-driven calcium transport in the organism. Filament-inducing activity of the complex was reduced in the presence of NaCl, but not in the presence of added Ca2+, ethanol, calcium pantothenate, or E. coli 'division promoting extract'. This behaviour is also similar to that of [Ru2(NH3)6Br3]Br2 X H2O. It is suggested that both complexes may induce filamentation in E. coli by a common mechanism, which may involve interference with calcium metabolism, or a wall or membrane target, rather than interaction with DNA.  相似文献

The reactions of Na2PtCl4 with pyridine-2-carbaldehyde and 2-acetyl pyridine N(4)-ethyl-thiosemicarbazones, HFo4Et and HAc4Et respectively, afforded the complexes [Pt(Fo4Et)Cl], [Pt(HFo4Et)2]Cl2, [Pt(Fo4Et)2] and [Pt(Ac4Et)Cl], [Pt(HAc4Et)2]Cl2 x 2H2O, [Pt(Ac4Et)2]. The new complexes have been characterized by elemental analyses and spectroscopic studies. The crystal structure of the complex [Pt(Ac4Et)Cl] has been solved. The anion of Ac4E coordinates in a planar conformation to the central platinum(II) through the pyridyl N, azomethine N and thiolato S atoms. Intermolecular hydrogen, non-hydrogen bonds, pi-pi and weak Pt-pi contacts lead to aggregation and a supramolecular assembly. The cytotoxic activity for the platinum(II) complexes in comparison to that of cisplatin and thiosemicarbazones was evaluated in a pair of cisplatin-sensitive and -resistant ovarian cancer cell lines A2780 and A2780/Cp8. The platinum(II) complexes showed a cytotoxic potency in a very low micromolar range and were found able to overcome the cisplatin resistance of A2780/Cp8 cells.  相似文献

Several cisplatin analogues of ethylenediamine-derived ligands containing alcohol, carboxylic acid and acetate substituents have been prepared and characterised. Oxidation of some of these square planar platinum(II) complexes using aqueous hydrogen peroxide gave octahedral platinum(IV) complexes, containing trans hydroxo ligands. Acetylation of the hydroxo ligands was achieved by reaction with acetic anhydride, giving complexes which are analogues of the antitumour drug, JM-216. Oxidation of the complex [Pt(H2L4)Cl2], where H2L4 is ethylenediamine-N,N'-diacetic acid, with H2O2 gave the platinum(IV) complex [PtL4Cl2].H2O in which L4 is tetradentate as shown by a crystal and molecular structure. This complex was previously reported to be [Pt(HL4)(OH)Cl2] in which HL4 is tridentate. Several of the complexes were tested for antitumour activity against five human ovarian carcinoma cell lines. IC50 values range from 4.0 microM for cis,trans-PtCl2(OH)2(NH2CH2CH2NHCH2CH2OH) against the CH1 cell line to >25 microM indicating moderate to low activity relative to other platinum complexes.  相似文献

Six ruthenium(II) complexes of the general form cis-alpha-[Ru(N4-tetradentate)(N2-bidentate)]Cl2 have been synthesized from the two related tetradentate ligands 1,6-di(2'-pyridyl)-2,5-dimethyl-2,5-diazahexane (picenMe2) and 1,6-di(2'-pyridyl)-2,5-dibenzyl-2,5-diazahexane (picenBz2) and the bidentate ligands 2,2'-bipyridine (bipy), 1,10-phenanthroline (phen) and dipyrido[3,2-f:2'3'-h]quinoxaline (dpq). Synthetic intermediate species of the general form cis-alpha-[Ru(II)(N4-tetradentate)(DMSO)Cl][PF6] were isolated. The N4-tetradentate ligand picenMe2 formed only the cis-alpha stereoisomer, while picenBz2 formed both the cis-alpha and cis-beta stereoisomers. These latter stereoisomers were resolved by fractional crystallisation. Dimer self-association constants, K(D), were estimated from the concentration dependence of the 1H NMR shifts for some of these complexes in aqueous solutions at 25 degrees C. The values of K(D) ranged from 0.6 to 7.9 M(-1) and a relationship was observed between the aromatic surface area of the bidentate component and the degree to which self-association occurred, whereby a greater level of self-association correlates with a larger surface area for the bidentate ligand. Some of these complexes demonstrate an ability to bind to DNA that is consistent with intercalation of the bidentate molecular component between the base pairs of the DNA molecule. Using calf-thymus DNA, the equilibrium binding constants, K(B), were determined for some of the complexes using intrinsic methods and these ranged from 3.32 to 5.11 M(-1), the intercalating abilities of the different bidentate ligands being in the order dp q > phen > bipy. This relationship between aromatic surface area of the bidentate ligand and the degree of DNA binding activity is the same as that observed in the self-association study.  相似文献

Four platinum(IV) complexes, trans,trans-dichlorobis(N,N-dimethylglycinato)platinum(IV), trans,trans-[Pt(dmgly)2Cl2] (1) and trans,trans-dibromobis(N,N-dimethylglycinato)platinum (IV), trans,trans-[Pt(dmgly)2Br2] (2), as well as, trans,trans-dichlorobis(N-methylglycinato)platinum(IV), trans,trans-[Pt(sar)2Cl2] (3) and trans,trans-dibromobis(N-methylglycinato)platinum(IV), trans,trans-[Pt(sar)2Br2] (4) (with configuration index for all complexes OC-6-14), were synthesized and characterized by elemental analysis, infrared and 1H NMR spectroscopy. In the aim to assess the selectivity in the antitumor action of these complexes, the antiproliferative action of these compounds was determined to human adenocarcinoma HeLa cells; to human myelogenous leukemia K562 cells and to normal immunocompetent cells; i.e., on human PBMC. The details of the crystal structure synthesized trans,trans-[Pt(sar)2Br2] complex were also reported here. In the crystal structure of trans,trans-[Pt(sar)2Br2], the Pt(IV) ion had a deformed octahedral coordination with both N-methylglycinates and bromides bonded trans to one another and with the N-Pt-Br bond angles of 84.1(4) and 95.9(4)°. The trans,trans-[Pt(sar)2Br2] complex molecules form 2D-layers with multiple N-H?O and C-H?O hydrogen bonds.  相似文献

The new square-planar Pt(II) and Pd(II) complexes with cytokinin-derived compounds Bohemine and Olomoucine, having the formulae [Pt(BohH(+))Cl(3)].H(2)O (1), [Pt(Boh)(2)Cl(2)].3H(2)O (2), [Pt(Boh-H)Cl(H(2)O)(2)].H(2)O (3), [Pt(OloH(+))Cl(3)].H(2)O (4), [Pd(BohH(+))Cl(3)].H(2)O (5), [Pd(Boh)Cl(2)(H(2)O)] (6), [Pd(Boh-H)Cl(H(2)O)].EtOH (7) and [Pd(OloH(+))Cl(3)].H(2)O (8), where Boh=6-(benzylamino)-2-[(3-(hydroxypropyl)amino]-9-isopropylpurine and Olo=6-(benzylamino)-2-[(2-(hydroxyethyl)amino]-9-methylpurine, have been synthesized. The complexes have been characterized by elemental analyses, IR, FAB+ mass, 1H, 13C and 195Pt NMR spectra, and conductivity data. The molecular structure of the complex [Pt(BohH(+)-N7)Cl(3)].9/5H(2)O has been determined by an X-ray diffraction study. Results from physical studies show that both Bohemine and Olomoucine are coordinated to transition metals through the N(7) atom of purine ring in all the complexes. The prepared compounds have been tested in vitro for their possible cytotoxic activity against G-361 (human malignant melanoma), HOS (human osteogenic sarcoma), K-562 (human chronic myelogenous leukemia) and MCF-7 (human breast adenocarcinoma) cell lines and IC(50) values have been also determined for all the complexes. IC(50) values estimated for the Pt(II)-Bohemine complexes (2.1-16 microM) allow us to conclude that they could find utilization in antineoplastic therapy. Thus, from a pharmacological point of view, Pt(II) complexes of Bohemine may represent compounds for a new class of antitumor drugs.  相似文献

A series of Au, Ru, and Cu complexes of metronidazole (= [1-(2-hydroxyethyl)-2-methyl-5-nitro-1H-imidazole; 1) were prepared as highly potent anti-amoebic drugs. The complexes [Au(PPh3)(1)]PF6 (2), [Ru(1)2(Cl)2(H2O)2] (3), and [Cu(1)2(mu-Cl)(H2O)]2Cl2 (4) were readily synthesized from [Au(PPh3)Cl], RuCl3 x 3 H2O, and CuCl2 x 2 H2O, respectively. All complexes were thoroughly characterized by IR, UV/VIS, 1H-NMR, FAB-MS, elemental and thermogravimetric analyses, and, in the case of 4, also by X-ray crystallography (Fig. 1). All complexes were evaluated in vitro as growth inhibitors of Entamoeba histolytica (HM1:IMSS strain). Their IC50 values were in the range of 0.10-0.51 microM (Table 2), which makes these drugs, especially the Cu(II) complex 4, considerably more potent than uncomplexed metronidazole (1; IC50 = 1.81 microM), the current standard drug for the worldwide treatment of amoebiasis.  相似文献

Glycolato and S-lactato complexes containing the dioxomolybdenum(VI) moiety have been synthesized for studies on the role of the alpha-hydroxycarboxylato anion in the iron molybdenum cofactor of nitrogenase. The ligands in these complexes, vis K2[MoO2(glyc)2].H2O (H2glyc=glycolic acid, C2H4O3) (1) and (Na2[MoO2(S-lact)2])3.13H2O (H2lact=lactic acid, C3H6O3) (2) chelate through their alpha-alkoxyl and alpha-carboxyl oxygen atoms. In contrast, octanuclear K6[(MoO2)8(glyc)6(Hglyc)2].10H2O (3) formed by the reduction of the glycolato complex (1), features three different ligand binding modes: (i) non-bridging and bridging bidentate coordination of alpha-alkoxyl and alpha-carboxyl groups, and (ii) bidentate bridging using alpha-carboxyl group, leaving the alpha-alkoxyl group free. The octanuclear skeleton shows strong metal-metal interactions. The coordination modes in (1) and (2) mimic that of homocitrate to the iron molybdenum cofactor (FeMo-co) of nitrogenase. The bidentate coordination of alpha-alkoxyl and alpha-carboxyl groups shows that bond of alpha-carboxyl group to Mo is less susceptible to the oxidation state of molybdenum compared with the Mo-alpha-alkoxyl bond. This is supported by the dinuclear coordination of alpha-carboxyl group with free alpha-alkoxyl group in glycolato molybdate(V) (3).  相似文献

The new potential antitumour soluble drug K[Ru(eddp)Cl(2)].3H(2)O, (eddp=ethylenediamine-N,N'-di-3-propionate) has been isolated and characterized. The analysis of the interaction of this complex with pBR322 plasmid DNA by circular dichroism spectroscopy shows that the ruthenium complex initially induces alteration of both CD positive and negative features resembling those previously observed for monofunctional platinum complexes. Further addition of drug at r(i) higher than 0.50 suggests appreciable conformational alterations of typical secondary structure of B-type DNA, implying loss of DNA helicity and unwinding of the double helix. The results reported herein about the binding of K[Ru(eddp)Cl(2)] to the named plasmid performed by electrophoresis indicate that the Ru(III) center preferentially forms initial monofunctional adducts with this plasmid. In addition, the DNA binding data suggest that the plasmid is cleaved by K[Ru(eddp)Cl(2)] in the presence of physiological concentrations of ascorbate. These results support the hypothesis that reactive Ru(II) species may be formed from Ru(III) upon incubation with a reductant agent such as ascorbate. The testing of the cytotoxic activity of this complex against several human cancer cell lines evidenced that K[Ru(eddp)Cl(2)] complex had a remarkable and selective antiproliferative effect against the cervix carcinoma HeLa and colon adenocarcinoma HT-29, behaving in these two cases as an antineoplastic drug.  相似文献

The dichlorobis(2-phenylazopyridine)ruthenium(II) complexes, [Ru(azpy)(2)Cl(2)], are under renewed investigation due to their potential anticancer activity. The three most common isomers alpha-, beta- and gamma-[RuL(2)Cl(2)] with L= o-tolylazopyridine (tazpy) and 4-methyl-2-phenylazopyridine (mazpy) (alpha indicating the coordinating Cl, N(pyridine) and Nazo atoms in mutual cis, trans, cis positions, beta indicating the coordinating Cl, N(pyridine) and Nazo atoms in mutual cis, cis, cis positions, and gamma indicating the coordinating Cl, N(pyridine) and Nazo atoms in mutual trans, cis, cis positions) are synthesized and characterized by NMR spectroscopy. The molecular structures of gamma-[Ru(tazpy)(2)Cl(2)] and alpha-[Ru(mazpy)(2)Cl(2)] are determined by X-ray diffraction analysis. The IC(50) values of the geometrically isomeric [Ru(tazpy)(2)Cl(2)] and [Ru(mazpy)(2)Cl(2)] complexes compared with those of the parent [Ru(azpy)(2)Cl(2)] complexes are determined in a series of human tumour cell lines (MCF-7, EVSA-T, WIDR, IGROV, M19, A498 and H266). These data unambiguously show for all complexes the following trend: the alpha isomer shows a very high cytotoxicity, whereas the beta isomer is a factor 10 less cytotoxic. The gamma isomers of [Ru(tazpy)(2)Cl(2)] and [Ru(mazpy)(2)Cl(2)] display a very high cytotoxicity comparable to that of the gamma isomer of the parent compound [Ru(azpy)(2)Cl(2)] and to that of the alpha isomer. These biological data are of the utmost importance for a better understanding of the structure-activity relationships for the isomeric [RuL(2)Cl(2)] complexes.  相似文献

Density functional theory (DFT) methodology was used to examine the structural properties of linear metal string complexes: [Ru(3)(dpa)(4)X(2)] (X = Cl(-), CN(-), NCS(-), dpa = dipyridylamine(-)), [Ru(5)(tpda)(4)Cl(2)], and hypothetical, not yet synthesized complexes [Ru(7)(tpta)(4)Cl(2)] and [Ru(9)(ppta)(4)Cl(2)] (tpda = tri-α-pyridyldiamine(2-), tpta = tetra-α-pyridyltriamine(3-), ppta = penta-α-pyridyltetraamine(4-)). Our specific focus was on the two longest structures and on comparison of the string complexes and unsupported ruthenium backboned chain complexes, which have weaker ruthenium-ruthenium interactions. The electronic structures were studied with the aid of visualized frontier molecular orbitals, and Bader's quantum theory of atoms in molecules (QTAIM) was used to study the interactions between ruthenium atoms. The electron density was found to be highest and distributed most evenly between the ruthenium atoms in the hypothetical [Ru(7)(tpta)(4)Cl(2)] and [Ru(9)(ppta)(4)Cl(2)] string complexes.  相似文献

Complexes of the type [M(pabh)(H2O)Cl], [M(pcbh)(H2O)Cl] and [M(Hpabh)(H2O)2 (SO4)] where, M = Mn(II), Co(II), Ni(II), Cu(II) and Zn(II); Hpabh = p-amino acetophenone benzoyl hydrazone and Hpcbh = p-chloro acetophenone benzoyl hydrazone have been synthesized and characterized with the help of elemental analyses, electrical conductance, magnetic susceptibility measurements, electronic, ESR and IR spectra, thermal (TGA & DTA) and X-ray diffraction studies. Co(II), Ni(II) and Cu(II) chloride complexes are square planar, whereas their sulfate complexes have spin-free octahedral geometry. ESR spectra of Cu(II) complexes with Hpabh are axial and suggest d(x(2)-y(2) as the ground state. The ligand is bidentate bonding through > C = N--and deprotonated enolate group in all the chloro complexes, whereas, >C = N and >C = O groups in all the sulfato complexes. Thermal studies (TGA & DTA) on [Cu(Hpabh)(H2O)2(SO4)] indicate a multistep decomposition pattern, which are both exothermic and endothermic in nature. X-ray powder diffraction parameters for [Co(pabh)(H2O)Cl] and [Ni(Hpabh)(H2O)2(SO4)] correspond to tetragonal and orthorhombic crystal lattices, respectively. The ligands as well as their complexes show a significant antifungal and antibacterial activity. The metal complexes are more active than the ligand.  相似文献

A series of platinum(II) tri-n-butylphosphine complexes having the formulas cis-[PtCl2L2], NEt4[PtCl3L], [PtCl(en)L]Cl, [Pt(en)L2](ClO4)2, sym-trans-[Pt2Cl4L2], [Pt2Cl2L4](ClO4)2, trans,trans-[PtCl2L(mu-N2H4)PtCl2L] trans,trans-[PtCl2L(mu-en)PtCl2L], and cis,cis-[PtClL2(mu-N2H4)PtClL2](ClO4)2 (L = tri-n-butylphosphine; en = ethylenediamine) have been synthesized and their cytotoxic activity in vitro and in vivo has been studied. The solution behavior of the novel dinuclear diamine-bridged platinum(II) complexes has been investigated by means of UV and 31P NMR spectroscopy. For the ionic hydrazine compound cis,cis-[PtClL2(mu-N2H4)PtClL2](ClO4)2, an x-ray structure determination is reported. Crystal data: space group P2(1)/a, a = 17.803(1), b = 18.888(3), c = 12.506(3) A, beta = 107.97(2) degrees, Z = 2, R = 0.052, RW = 0.058. The platinum coordination is approximately square-planar, with the bond lengths Pt-Cl = 2.358(5), Pt-N = 2.15(1), Pt-P(trans to Cl) = 2.260(5), and Pt-P(trans to N) = 2.262(6) A. All investigated compounds were cytotoxic in vitro against L1210 cells and showed no cross-resistance to cisplatin. On the other hand, no antitumor activity was observed vs L1210 leucemia in DBA2 mice.  相似文献

Platinum(II) halide complexes with N-ethylimidazole (N-EtIm) and N-propylimidazole (N-PropIm) of the Pt(L)2X2 and Pt(L)4X2 types (X = Cl, Br, I) were prepared and characterized by far infrared spectra, electronic spectra, and conductivity measurements. The inhibitorial activity of some complexes on the Ca,Mg-dependent ATPase and the antitumor studies of the Pt(L)4Cl2 derivatives have been investigated. Pt complexes are not inhibitory active in comparison to the same Pd complexes (if c = 10(-4) M). The LD50 in physiological solution for [Pt(N-EtIm)4]Cl2 X 2H2O and [Pt(N-PropIm)4]Cl2 are higher enough with respect to the cis platinum.  相似文献

The complex cis-dicyanobis(2,2'-bipyridine)ruthenium(II) forms various bimetallic complexes with mercury(II)chloride, such as [(NC)Ru(bpy)2(CN)-HgCl2], [Cl2Hg-(NC)Ru(bpy)2(CN)-HgCl2-(NC)Ru(bpy)2(CN)-HgCl2] and [Cl2Hg-(NC)Ru(bpy)2(CN)-(HgCl2)] in CH3CN. These polynuclear complexes of the equilibrium system have been identified and characterized by their formation constants and absorption spectra. Excitation of bimetallic complexes produces the MLCT state localized on [Ru(bpy)2(CN)2] ligand, resulting in the cleavage of the bond formed between the nitrogen atom of the coordinated cyanide ligand and the Hg(II) central atom in ground state. Unlike many photoinduced metal ligand dissociations, the dissociated fragment remains in a luminescent excited state.  相似文献

Reaction of [Ru(eta4-C8H12) (CH3CN)2 Cl2] with 2-(2-pyridyl) benzimidazole or Schiff bases derived from 2-acetylpyridine and S-methyldithiocarbazate, S-benzyldithiocarbazate and thiosemicarbazide leads to form new complexes of the type [Ru(eta4-C8H12)(L)Cl2] (where L=ligand). In vitro, most of the compounds exhibited potent activity and the Ru derivatives 1a [Ru(eta4-C8H12)(2-Acpy-SMDT)Cl2], 2a [Ru(eta4-C8H12)(2-Acpy-SBDT)Cl2] and 3a [Ru(eta4-CsH12)(2-Acpy-TSC)Cl2] were found more active than metronidazole against (HK-9) strain of Entamoeba histolytica.  相似文献

Three dipeptide complexes of the form K[Pt(IV) (dipep) Cl(OH)2] and four dipeptide complexes of the form K[Pt(IV)-(Hdipep)Cl2(OH)2] were newly prepared. The 195 Pt NMR peak of the K[Pt(IV) (dipep)Cl(OH)2] complexes appeared at about 1200 ppm and these chemical shifts were about 3150 ppm downfield compared with those of the K[Pt(II) (dipep) Cl] complexes. The chemical shifts of the K[Pt(IV) (Hdipep) Cl2 (OH)2] complexes were at about 900 ppm, i.e., about 3050 ppm downfield compared with those of the K[Pt(II) (Hdipep)Cl] complexes. The H[Pt(IV) (Hdigly) Cl2(OH)2] and K[Pt(IV) (Hdigly) Cl2(OH)2] complexes inhibited the growth of C. albicans at a more diluted concentration than cisplatin at 1 microgram/ml, but the platinum complexes only weakly inhibited the growth of these cells compared with the cisplatin-inhibited growth of Meth-A and Hep-2 cells at 10 micrograms/ml. These results suggested that the platinum complexes selectively inhibited the growth of fungal cells.  相似文献
