目的通过对实验猴细菌性感染疾病脏器病理改变的观察和分析,完善实验猴病理检测资料,为实验动物病理检测标准的制定提供依据。方法选取86例实验猴按5种必检细菌性感染疾病(沙门菌病;志贺菌病;结核杆菌病;小肠结肠炎耶尔森菌病;空肠弯曲菌病)病原种类分组,对脏器标本进行病理剖检,HE染色观察记录病变,建立实验猴必检细菌性疾病病理检测资料。结果病理检测结果显示:沙门菌病表现为伤寒肉芽肿,结核杆菌病表现为结核肉芽肿,小肠结肠炎耶尔森菌病表现为纵行溃疡、急性炎及化脓性肉芽肿;志贺菌病、空肠弯曲菌病表现为急性炎和表浅溃疡。结论感染5种必检细菌的实验猴分别表现出不同的病理变化,病理检测对疾病的分析诊断有重要价值,检测结果补充了实验猴细菌性疾病病理检测资料,为制定实验动物病理检测指南提供了相关依据。  相似文献

For conservation purposes and due to growing ecotourism, free-ranging mountain gorillas (Gorilla gorilla beringei) have been habituated to humans. Fecal specimens (n = 62) collected in January 1999 from mountain gorillas of the Bwindi and Mgahinga National Parks, Uganda, were tested for Campylobacter spp., Salmonella spp., and Shigella spp., and the overall prevalence of infection was 19%, 13%, and 6%, respectively. The prevalence of positive specimens was not related to the year of habituation of a gorilla group to humans. Campylobacter spp., Salmonella, and Shigella spp. infections were not distributed equally among the age classes of gorillas; most of the enteropathogens (80%), and all Shigella spp. organisms, S. sonnei, S. boydii, and S. flexneri, were isolated from subadults and adult gorillas with ages ranging from 6.0 to 11.9 yr. The prevalence of Campylobacter spp. and Salmonella spp. infections among human-habituated gorillas has doubled during the last 4 yr, and isolation of Shigella spp. for the first time from mountain gorillas, may indicate enhanced anthropozoonotic transmission of these enteropathogens.  相似文献

Morbidity and mortality of captive wildlife at the Emperor Valley Zoo, Trinidad from 1993 to 1996 were analysed to determine involvement of Salmonella spp. A 6 mo longitudinal study was conducted to determine the frequency of isolation of Salmonella spp. from apparently healthy, sick and dead wild mammals, birds, and reptiles. The antibiograms of Salmonella isolates were determined using the disc diffusion method. Fecal samples randomly selected from animal enclosures and cloacal swabs of snakes were cultured for Salmonella spp. following enrichment in tetrathionate and selenite cystine broths. For the 1993-96 period, Salmonella spp. was implicated in 17 (12%) of 141 sick or dead animals and the predominant serotype was S. typhimurium. During the 6 mo prospective study in a mean animal population of 1,186, there were 20 (2%) and 14 (1%) animals that were sick and died respectively; Salmonella spp. was implicated in only one mortality. Overall, of 1,012 samples from apparently healthy wildlife cultured, 66 (7%) yielded 24 serotypes of Salmonella. The predominant serotype were S. seigburg (16 isolates), S. gaminara (6 isolates), and S. thompson (6 isolates). None of the samples yielded S. typhimurium. The frequency of isolation of Salmonella spp. in reptiles (14%) was significantly higher than found in either mammals (7%) or birds (3%). Sixty-five (99%) of 66 Salmonella spp. isolates exhibited resistance to one or more of the nine antimicrobial agents tested. Resistance was high to cephalothin (92%), moderate to streptomycin (35%) and tetracycline (29%), but significantly low to gentamicin (2%), chloramphenicol (0%), and sulphamethoxazole/trimethoprim (0%). The prevalence of asymptomatic infections by Salmonella spp. in zoo animals was high and the very high prevalence of antimicrobial resistance could be a problem when treating salmonellosis.  相似文献

Stool specimens from 1400 Diarrhoeal patients from the Jordanian population were examined for bacterial pathogens and Rotavirus during a four- year period (1997-2000). Pathogenic bacteria were identified in 343 patients (24.5%), most often from children. Salmonella spp. was the most frequent isolated organism in 10.7% of the patient's cultures, followed by enteropathogenic Escherichia coli (EPEC) in 3.9%, Shigella spp. in 0.8% and Campylobacter spp. in 0.9%. Vibrio spp. was not identified in the stools tested. Resistance to ampicillin was observed in 42.2% of the Salmonella, 77.0% of the Shigella, and 31.0% of the EPEC isolates. Cotrimoxazole resistance was observed in 34.0% of the Shigella and 13.0% of the EPEC isolates and 77.0% of Campylobacter isolates. AIMS: To examine the prevalence and diversity of bacterial faecal pathogens in unseparated slurry, separated solids and liquid fractions from a commercial pig farm. METHODS: A total of 43 stored slurry specimens originating from a fattening house over the period February-April 2002 were analysed, consisting of unseparated (n = 14) slurry, separated solids (n = 16) and separated liquid (n = 13). Specimens were examined for the presence of five bacterial pathogens including Salmonella spp., Shigella spp., Campylobacter spp., Escherichia coli O157 and Yersinia enterocolitica. Selective enrichment and plating methods were employed for detection of Salmonella spp. and Campylobacter spp. and conventional selective plating techniques for the remaining genera. Antibiogram profiles to 12 antibiotic agents were obtained for all Salmonella isolates obtained. RESULTS: Salmonella spp. were identified in all components of the slurry specimens, whereas Campylobacter spp. was only recovered from the unseparated and separated liquid fractions. In both cases, the separated liquid fraction had the highest prevalence of pathogens and the separated solid fraction had the lowest prevalence. None of the slurry specimens examined were positive for E. coli O157:H7, Shigella spp. or Y. enterocolitica. Twenty-nine isolates of Salmonella were recovered from the slurry specimens, comprising seven serovars, of which Salmonella manhattan was the most prevalent, accounting for over half [15 of 29 (51.7%)] of all Salmonella isolates. Salmonella anatum, Salm. derby, Salm. give, Salm. heidelberg, Salm. simi and Salm. stanley serovars were also recovered. All Salmonella isolates were sensitive to ampicillin, augmentin (amoxicillin/clavulanic acid), chloramphenicol, ciprofloxacin, gentamicin, kanamycin and trimethoprim, but has variable resistance to tetracycline (100%), sulphonamides (84.6%), furazolidone (38.5%), nalidixic acid (15.4%) and streptomycin (15.4%). The majority (57.7%) of isolates displayed antibiotic resistance to at least two antibiotic agents, followed by 34.6% of isolates being resistant to three agents and the remainder (7.7%) being resistant to four antibiotics. SIGNIFICANCE AND IMPACT OF THE STUDY: This study demonstrated a marked reduction in the prevalence of Campylobacter and Salmonella in the solids component of separated pig slurry. The adoption of control processes such as aeration of slurry prior to its spread onto agricultural land and newer approaches to pathogen reduction should be investigated, to reduce the transmission of pathogens from pig slurry to the environment.  相似文献

Differences among isolates of simian hemorrhagic fever (SHF) virus   总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1  
Simian hemorrhagic fever (SHF) virus is a member of the Togaviridae family which currently is unclassified to genus. We have studied the relatedness of four different SHF virus isolates obtained from infected macaque or patas monkeys. Differences were found among isolates in type and severity of disease produced in patas monkeys, cell sensitivity to infection, viral antigens, and levels of specific antibody induced in patas monkeys. Based on these criteria, the four isolates have been grouped in two categories: those producing acute infections in patas monkeys (LVR, P-180) and those producing persistent infections (P-248, P-741). The P-180 isolate induced the most severe disease in experimentally infected patas monkeys, but only occasionally were their infections fatal. Persistently infected patas monkeys were viremic over a period of years, but showed no signs or symptoms of infection. All four isolates were found to be antigenically related by use of enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA); the P-248 isolate showing the weakest antigenic relationship. However, none of the four isolates induced cross-neutralizing antibodies in infected patas monkeys. High titers of specific IgG antibody (up to 31,250 as determined by ELISA) were induced in acutely infected patas monkeys (LVR, P-180), but antibody was barely detectable (less than or equal to 50) in persistently infected patas monkeys (P-248, P-741). LVR lytically infected USU-104 cells, patas monkey peritoneal macrophages (PMAC), and rhesus monkey PMAC. The P-180 isolate lytically infected both patas monkey PMAC and rhesus monkey PMAC, but not USU-104 cells. The isolates producing persistent infections (P-248, P-741) lytically infected only rhesus monkey PMAC. These results show that marked differences exist among isolates of SHF virus from naturally infected animals. These differences should be useful in categorizing new isolates.  相似文献

Shigella and Salmonella strains isolated from clinical samples were examined. Out of 42 Shigella strains tested, 17 (40%) were found to be colicinogenic and another 3 were lysogenic. All three lysogens yielded a phage antigenically homologous to coliphage P2. Out of 30 strains tested, only 1 was found to be resistant to both neomycin and sulfamethoxazole. Out of 48 strains of Salmonella tested for drug resistance, only 2 showed multiple drug resistance. In contrast to Shigella isolates, the Salmonella isolates were infrequently (approximately 5%) bacteriocinogenic. The frequency of lysogeny in Salmonella strains was found to be 6% when tested on Salmonella typhimurium LT2, but by using a set of five indicators belonging to species Salmonella potsdam, Salmonella mbadanka, Salmonella dublin, Salmonella london, and Salmonella wandsworth, 50% of the strains were shown to be lysogenic. Salmonella phages related to P22 were recoverable from Salmonella saintpaul, Salmonella indiana, and Salmonella heidelberg. Some isolates of S. typhimurium yielded a temperature-sensitive and P22-heterologous phage which was found to be a more efficient transducer of bacterial genetic markers than P22. EcoRI-generated fragments of the DNA of some phages permitted the establishment of a clonal descent for some of the wild-type lysogenic bacterial strains. This last observation points out the potential usefulness of prophages as epidemiological markers.  相似文献

The presence of insertion sequence IS1 in 70 multiple-antibiotic resistant clinical strains was determined. This 70-strain collection comprised 46 Escherichia coli, 18 Salmonella and 6 Shigella strains. The presence of IS1 was detected in the chromosome and plasmids of 73% and 63% of the strains, respectively, and 51% of the strains carried IS1 in both. The frequency of IS1 was higher in Salmonella than in E. coli and Shigella strains. A total of 31 strains carried large plasmids with IS1; 10 of these strains (32.3%) were able to transfer all or some of the antibiotic resistance markers to E. coli K12 or S. typhimurium recipient strains. Resistance markers of all clinical strains were maintained stably after several generations of growth. The presence of IS1 in a relatively high percentage of plasmids of multiple-antibiotic resistant clinical isolates, suggests a role for this sequence in the dissemination of genes which code for antibiotic resistance.  相似文献

An epidemiological survey of human enterobacterial infections was conducted to determine the prevalence of enteropathogens in the Republic of Korea during one year, 2003. We tested for infectious diseases in 26,992 stool samples obtained from people who visited clinics located in six big cities and six rural provinces. From these samples, we isolated 1,291 cases of enteritis bacterial infection (4.8%). In the urban areas, 821 cases of bacterial infection (6.4%) were identified and, in the rural areas, 479 bacterial strains (3.3%) were isolated. Seasonal patterns were seen for diarrhea associated with S. aureus, E. coli and V. parahaemolyticus, while Salmonella and Shigella infections showed slight seasonal variation. We found that S. aureus and Salmonella were more frequently isolated from children and the elderly; however, the prevalence of E. coli, V. parahaemolyticus, and Shigella were similar in different age groups. Routine monitoring of these infections is considered a worthwhile means by which to elucidate their epidemiology and modes of transmission and ultimately to control them more effectively. Continuous laboratory-based surveillance for findings of enteritis bacterial infection should be emphasized in the prevention of these infections.  相似文献

Salmonellosis and shigellosis are significant and persistent causes of diarrheal diseases among humans in developing countries. With that in mind, the current study investigates the occurrence of plasmid-encoded multidrug resistances in Salmonella and Shigella from diarrheal cases among humans. The isolates were characterized by serotyping, antimicrobial-susceptibility testing, transfer experiments and curing. The extended spectrum β-lactamase (ESBL) was detected by the double disc diffusion synergy test (DDST). A significant number of the plasmid-encoded multidrug resistant (PEMDR) Salmonella and Shigella isolates were found to harbour transferable plasmid genes resistant to antibiotics like ampicillin, chloramphenicol, trimethoprim-sulfamethoxazole, ceftriaxone, cefuroxime and to a lesser extent to ciprofloxacin and ofloxacin. The conjugative R-plasmids-encoded extended-spectrum β-lactamase also showed resistances to cephalosporins (ceftriaxone and cefuroxime) and ampicillin. Curing experiments showed chromosomal resistances to varied antibiotics. The findings confirmed the presence of PEMDR in Salmonella and Shigella strains as a suitable adaptation to a changing antibiotic environment. The results therefore suggest the limited use of the commonly prescribed/or third generation cephalosporins as an empirical treatment of multidrug resistant Salmonella and Shigella because this may affect therapeutic outcomes.  相似文献

The recognition of naturally occurring rhadinoviruses in macaque monkeys has spurred interest in their use as models for human infection with Kaposi sarcoma-associated herpesvirus (human herpesvirus 8). Rhesus macaques (Macaca mulatta) and pig-tailed macaques (Macaca nemestrina) were inoculated intravenously with rhadinovirus isolates derived from these species (rhesus rhadinovirus [RRV] and pig-tailed rhadinovirus [PRV]). Nine rhadinovirus antibody-negative and two rhadinovirus antibody-positive monkeys were used for these experimental inoculations. Antibody-negative animals clearly became infected following virus inoculation since they developed persisting antibody responses to virus and virus was isolated from peripheral blood on repeated occasions following inoculation. Viral sequences were also detected by PCR in lymph node, oral mucosa, skin, and peripheral blood mononuclear cells following inoculation. Experimentally infected animals developed peripheral lymphadenopathy which resolved by 12 weeks following inoculation, and these animals have subsequently remained free of disease. No increased pathogenicity was apparent from cross-species infection, i.e., inoculation of rhesus macaques with PRV or of pig-tailed macaques with RRV, whether the animals were antibody positive or negative at the time of virus inoculation. Coinoculation of additional rhesus monkeys with simian immunodeficiency virus (SIV) isolate SIVmac251 and macaque-derived rhadinovirus resulted in an attenuated antibody response to both agents and shorter mean survival compared to SIVmac251-inoculated controls (155.5 days versus 560.1 days; P < 0.019). Coinfected and immunodeficient macaques died of a variety of opportunistic infections characteristic of simian AIDS. PCR analysis of sorted peripheral blood mononuclear cells indicated a preferential tropism of RRV for CD20(+) B lymphocytes. Our results demonstrate persistent infection of macaque monkeys with RRV and PRV following experimental inoculation, but no specific disease was readily apparent from these infections even in the context of concurrent SIV infection.  相似文献

Specific soluble Shigella, Salmonella and Yersinia enterocolitica antigens were determined in biological fluids (saliva, urine, coprofiltrate) from 268 patients with the diarrhoea syndrome using the coagglutination reaction. The findings suggest that the coagglutination reaction (COA) is a simple and efficient method suitable for the fast diagnosing of acute intestinal infection (AII) in the early days from the onset of the disease. COA enables the identification of specific antigens associated with the causative agents of intestinal infections in 79-54% of patients with shigellosis and salmonellosis. COA was shown to possess a high diagnostic potential in AII of unknown etiology. Shigella, Salmonella and Yersinia antigens were determined in 47.7, 23.4 and 10.8% of cases respectively where no bacterial excretion could be confirmed. Two and less frequently three antigens being identified simultaneously in 10.8% cases. The identification of opportunistic microorganisms in AII using the COA does not appear to be sufficient to confirm their etiological significance as Shigella and Salmonella antigens were simultaneously determined in most patients.  相似文献

Development of catheter-tract infections in experimental animals can have devastating consequences on animal health and the functional lifespan of surgical implants. To measure the incidence of catheter-tract infections in animals with exteriorized intravenous catheters in this facility and assess the effects of these infections on mean catheter lifespan, health records of 31 Macaca mulatta with catheters were reviewed. Records spanned the interval of January 1, 1996 through October 1, 1997. Catheter-tract infections in 16 of 53 (30.2%) monkeys with catheters were diagnosed based on a combination of clinical signs of infection and results of bacterial culture. Segmental catheter-tract infections reduced mean catheter lifespan to 147 days, compared with 354 days for uninfected catheters. Exit-wound, local tunnel, and surgical-site infections did not significantly reduce catheter lifespan. Bacterial culture reports documented 31 isolates; 41.9% (13 of 31) were coagulase-negative staphylococci, and 22.6% (7 of 31) were Staphylococcus aureus. Of 20 isolates tested, 15 (75%) were resistant to methicillin/oxacillin in vitro. Antimicrobial susceptibility testing of methicillin-resistant and methicillin-susceptible isolates indicated that, compared with methicillin-sensitive isolates, methicillin-resistant isolates had a pattern of multiple antibiotic resistance. Catheter-tract infections were common in this colony of rhesus macaques, and clinically severe infections caused a drastic reduction in catheter lifespan. Approximately half (48%) the bacterial isolates were methicillin-resistant gram-positive bacteria.  相似文献

A total of 328 specimens of stools were examined in the Public Health Laboratory during January and February 1973. Enteropathogens were isolated from 117 of these specimens. Besides these, 12 strains of Salmonellae were isolated from blood and 8 from urine. An occasional Salmonella was isolated from the pleural fluid (S. paratyphi A) pus from the knee (S. enteritidis) and from the C.S.F. of an infant (S. paratyphi C.). Salmonella typhi and Salmonella paratyphi A are the predominant Salmonella species. No Salmonella paratyphi B has been isolated. Shigella, was isolated with slightly less frequency than Salmonella, and Shigella flexneriis was the predominant species. E. coli 0112/K66 is the most common enteropathogenic E. coli. The majority of the Shigella and Salmonella species are sensitive to the common antibiotics used. The E. coli organisms show multiple resistance to a number of antibiotics.  相似文献

目的:探讨沙门菌在腹泻病人粪便、外环境污水和部分动物标本中的菌型分布及其对抗生素的耐药性。方法:采用血清学方法对沙门菌进行分群和分型,采用K—B法进行抗生素耐药性测定。结果:410份临床腹泻病人标本和514份非临床标本共检出沙门菌93株,检出率为10.1%,其菌型分布为:腹泻病人粪便中检出的均为B群鼠伤寒沙门菌(6/93),非临床标本中的菌型主要为C2群纽波特沙门菌(72/93),还有E1群伦敦沙门菌(7/93)、B群鼠伤寒沙门菌(2/93)和未定型(6/93)。87株沙门菌对青霉素的耐药率最高(96.5%),其次为SMZ TMP(73.6%),未发现对新霉素、链霉素、四环素和阿米卡星的耐药株。结论:实验结果可为研究我省沙门菌的菌型分布及其对抗生素的耐药性提供参考;临床上应加强对鼠伤寒沙门菌引起腹泻的监测。  相似文献

【背景】沙门氏菌是一种重要的人兽共患食源性致病菌,控制沙门氏菌在动物中的感染和在食品生产链中的污染对于畜牧生产、公共卫生和食品安全具有重要意义。【目的】调查苏北地区某白羽肉鸡父母代种鸡及其商品鸡的沙门氏菌感染和流行情况,为其沙门氏菌防治提供参考依据。【方法】于2018?2019年从江苏泰州、宿迁、盐城、徐州、连云港等地区分别采集某白羽肉鸡父母代种鸡场产蛋鸡及其商品鸡场1?2日龄弱雏和10日龄雏鸡的泄殖腔拭子样品共360份,进行沙门氏菌的分离与鉴定,用纸片法和PCR方法对菌株耐药表型及相关耐药基因进行检测,通过多位点序列分型(multilocus sequence typing,MLST)技术对分离菌株的亲缘关系进行研究。【结果】从120份父母代产蛋鸡分离到3株沙门氏菌,从120份商品代1?2日龄弱雏分离到25株沙门氏菌,从120份商品代10日龄雏鸡分离到82株沙门氏菌。分离的沙门氏菌对多粘菌素B、亚胺培南、多西环素、甲氧苄啶、替加环素、氟苯尼考、头孢噻肟、恩诺沙星表现为全部敏感,对呋喃妥因、青霉素、利福平、利奈唑胺、万古霉素均表现为全部耐药;对阿莫西林耐药的菌株有30株(占27.27%),敏感的有80株(占72.73%)。耐药基因的PCR检测结果显示:β内酰胺类耐药基因blaTEM存在于所有沙门氏菌分离株中,但其他常见耐药基因在本研究的分离株中未发现。通过对分离菌7对管家基因进行PCR扩增、测序和MLST分型,发现所有沙门氏菌分离株的ST型均为ST11,属于肠炎沙门氏菌。MLST分型结果结合药敏试验结果表明,分离的沙门氏菌属于同一进化系统,具有相同或相似的来源。【结论】被调查商品鸡群的肠炎沙门氏菌感染很可能是其同一来源的父母代种鸡场垂直传播所致,这为该地区白羽肉鸡的沙门氏菌防治提供了参考。  相似文献

During 1972 and 1973 the Salmonella and Shigella Reference Laboratory examined 133 strains of Shigella dysenteriae and Shigella boydii isolated from patients in England and Wales. Of those infected 89 had recently travelled abroad and a further seven had been in close contact with travellers recently returned to this country. Though these subgroups were of little numerical significance they are of considerable epidemiological interest. The increase in tourism from the British Isles to North Africa and Asia is likely to lead to an increased incidence of infections due to these organisms, both in travellers infected abroad and in their contacts within the British Isles.  相似文献

Salmonella enterica isolates were recovered from swine at a collaborating processing plant over a 2-month period in the spring of 2000. In the present study, molecular subtyping by pulsed-field gel electrophoresis (PFGE) was performed on the 581 confirmed Salmonella isolates from the 84 Salmonella-positive samples obtained from the previous study. A total of 32 different PFGE pulsotypes were observed visually, and a BioNumerics software analysis clustered those pulsotypes into 12 PFGE groups. The B, F, and G groups predominated throughout the sampling period and were isolated from 39, 22, and 13% of the swine, respectively. In addition, multiple isolates were obtained from 67 of the 84 Salmonella-positive samples, and subtyping revealed multiple PFGE profiles in 35 of these 67 (62%) samples. Both carcass and fecal isolates of Salmonella were recovered from 13 swine, resulting in "matched" samples. Molecular typing of the 252 isolates recovered from the matched samples revealed that 7 (54%) of the 13 carcasses were contaminated with Salmonella pulsotypes that were not isolated from the feces of the same animal. Conversely, from 6 of the 13 (46%) matched animals, Salmonella clonal types were isolated from the feces that were not isolated from the carcass of the same animal. These data establish that each lot of swine introduces new contaminants into the plant environment and that swine feces from one animal can contaminate many carcasses. In addition, these results indicate that the examination of multiple Salmonella isolates from positive samples is necessary to determine the variety of potential contaminants of swine carcasses during slaughter and processing.  相似文献

Campylobacter jejuni and Campylobacter coli are recognized as the most common causative agents of bacterial gastroenteritis in the world and infections with these organisms occur more frequently than do infections due to Salmonella species, Shigella species, or Escherichia coli 0157:H7. The incidence of human Campylobacter infections has increased markedly in both developed and developing countries worldwide and, more significantly, so has the rapid emergence of antibiotic-resistant Campylobacter strains, with evidence suggesting that the use of antibiotics, in particular the fluoroquinolones, as growth promoters in food animals and the veterinary industry is accelerating this trend. In this minireview, the patterns of emerging resistance to the antimicrobial agents useful in treatment of the disease are presented and the mechanisms of resistance to these drugs in Campylobacter spp are discussed.  相似文献

Three sets of oligonucleotide primers were used in the polymerase chain reaction (PCR) assay to detect Salmonella species. phoP primers specific to the phoP/phoQ loci of coliform pathogenic bacteria such as Salmonella, Shigella, Escherichia coli, and Citrobacter species served as presumptive indicators of enteric bacteria. In addition to the phoP primers, the Hin and the H-1i primers, which targeted a 236-bp region of hin/H2 and a 173-bp region of the H-1i flagellin gene, respectively, were used. Both Hin and H-1i primers are specific to motile Salmonella species and are not present in Shigella, E. coli, or Citrobacter species. Thus, by multiplex PCR amplification, Salmonella species including Salmonella typhi, Salmonella typhimurium, Salmonella paratyphi A, and Salmonella enteritidis can be specifically detected. Optimal reaction conditions have been described to demonstrate this specific, sensitive detection of Salmonella species. By using agarose gel electrophoresis for detection of the PCR-amplified products, the sensitivity of detection was 10(2) CFU after 25 cycles of PCR and 1 (10(0)) CFU after a 50-cycle double PCR. The efficacy of these primers was demonstrated on environmental isolates which had previously been confirmed as Salmonella species by the use of conventional cultural techniques. In addition, positive amplifications resulted from Salmonella species in environmental samples including soil and water.  相似文献
