Kelp often dominates hard rocky substrata in the coastal watersof temperate, boreal and subantarctic regions of the world's oceans. The habitat providedby kelp holdfasts supports high species richness and high abundance of a range of invertebratetaxa. Studies conducted on the effects of stress on these communities have indicated that theyare sensitive to stressors and that the response is often predictable. With the growing body ofliterature on natural variation in holdfast community structure, studies of the impacts of stressare becoming more readily interpretable making the macrofauna of this habitat a potentiallyimportant tool for evaluating anthropogenic effects on hard substrata in coastal environments. Limitations of the use of holdfast fauna in studies of stress include the fact that brownseaweeds may disappear from polluted areas of reef, and where they persist, holdfaststructure may be altered directly by the stressor. An additional problem is that manipulative,experimental studies are difficult. Artificial holdfasts may provide a means by which thedemonstrated sensitivity of the holdfast community can be combined with a manipulative approach to testspecific hypotheses related to effects of stress in shallow coastal environments.  相似文献

为摸清厦门集美凤林红树林湿地的大型底栖动物群落结构及其多样性现状,2002年1、4、7和10月在厦门集美凤林红树林区进行大型底栖动物调查,4个季度共获得大型底栖动物42种。生物量优势种是软体动物门的珠带拟蟹守螺(Cerithideacingulata)和节肢动物门的弧边招潮(Ucaarcuata)。密度优势种是软体动物门的短拟沼螺(Assimineabrevicula)和环节动物门的沼蚓(Limnodriloidessp.)。集美凤林红树林区大型底栖动物年平均密度和年平均生物量分别为1,990ind./m2和139.0g/m2。密度的季节变化是:1月>4月>10月>7月,生物量的季节变化是1月>10月>4月>7月。聚类分析和数量分布表明,优势种珠带拟蟹守螺、短拟沼螺、弧边招潮和沼蚓的季节变化各不相同。与2002年10月深圳湾福田红树林区大型底栖动物群落的物种多样性指数平均值(0.56)比较,厦门凤林红树林区的平均值较高(2.66)。文中分析了影响大型底栖动物多样性的环境因素。  相似文献

The growth of green macro-algae in response to nutrient inputs is a common phenomenon in marine estuaries and sheltered bays. While the ecological effects of the growth of the most commonly occurring macroalgal taxa (Enteromorpha, Chaetomorpha, Ulva, Cladophora) have been well studied, the effects of a morphologically very different species, Vaucheria subsimplex, have not been investigated. This study investigated the ecological effects of the establishment of V. subsimplex on a relatively exposed intertidal sandflat, Drum Sands, Firth of Forth, Scotland. Because of the spatially heterogeneous development of the weed, the short term (4 weeks) and long term (20 weeks) effects of the weed could be studied using a survey approach in which the weed-affected and weed-free plots were interspersed. After 4 weeks, V. subsimplex significantly increased the mean number of individuals and diversity of the macrofauna, eight of the ten most abundant species showed significant increases in abundance compared to weed-free areas. After 20 weeks, mean number of species and individuals were significantly higher under weed patches, while species diversity was reduced due to the numerical dominance of Pygospio elegans (Claparède). The weed, therefore, had an enriching effect on the macrofaunal communities on Drum Sands. The increased numbers of P. elegans, the numerical dominant infaunal species on Drum Sands, resulted mainly from enhanced larval recruitment to weed-affected areas. The effects of V. subsimplex on sediment characteristics were similar to those reported for other macroalgal taxa, i.e., increased water, organic and silt/clay contents, medium particle size and sorting coefficients, and reduced redox potentials. The results from this study are compared to those for other, morphologically different macroalgal species, with particular reference to an Enteromorpha-implanted experiment on the same sandflat. Since the general effect of such macroalgal taxa on macrofaunal communities is a detrimental one, the present study supports the contention that macroalgal morphology is an important feature in algal–faunal interactions.  相似文献

Macrocystis pyrifera (L.) C. Agardh is a characteristic macroalga in the Magellan region covering almost 30% of the shallow coastal waters. The focus of this study was to analyse the spatial and seasonal patterns in macrofauna communities associated to the holdfasts of Macrocystis pyrifera at two study sites in the Straits of Magellan, South Chile. In total, 114 species from 10 major taxa were isolated from the holdfasts. MDS clearly separated the holdfast fauna collected in different seasons, with autumn and winter collections being richer in terms of species richness and abundance as compared to the spring and summer situation. MDS also clearly separated the holdfast associated faunas of the two study sites, Bahía Laredo and Fuerte Bulnes. The community structure and species composition of the associated macro-invertebrates and vertebrates appeared rather heterogeneous, probably due to the extremely heterogeneous environmental conditions along the entire coastline of the Subantarctic Magellan region.  相似文献

1. We explored patterns of co-occurrence of ectoparasite species on individual hosts from Central Europe (Slovakia) and South America (Argentina) within and between higher taxa while controlling for confounding factors associated with variation between host individuals and host species, as well as spatial and temporal variation. We used a recently developed statistical approach, the hierarchical modelling of species communities. 2. Although the probability of pairwise associations of the majority of species in both regions did not differ from random, all significant species associations in Slovakia were positive, whereas the only three significant species associations in Argentina were negative. On average, associations between ectoparasite species belonging to different higher taxa were positive in Slovakia and negative in Argentina. 3. At the host species level, both positive and negative associations between species were detected in all higher taxa. This was also true for ectoparasite co-occurrences in the same site, habitat, or year; although the number of co-occurring species pairs with high posterior probability was much greater in Slovakia than in Argentina. 4. We conclude that consideration of species co-occurrences across the entire multi-host assemblage and control for confounding spatial and temporal factors provided important insights into parasite community structure.  相似文献

We describe the relationship between macroinvertebrate community composition, the physicochemical environment and anthropogenic impacts, in running water sites across a range of water qualities in England and Wales. We have also investigated the degree of spatial structure present in both the macroinvertebrate community and the measured environment. Selected explanatory variables could account for 26% of the variation in lotic macroinvertebrate assemblage composition across England and Wales. The explanatory power of the CCA model was based predominantly on a combination of local scale variables (substrate, alkalinity, urban run-off) and regional scale variables (discharge category, northing). The physicochemical gradient associated with changes in stream type from headwaters to estuary dominated assemblage composition. The influence of pollution and habitat modification were of secondary importance. There was a substantial level of spatial structure to both the physicochemical (47% of its explanatory power spatially structured) and anthropogenic stress data (63% of its explanatory power spatially structured), which resulted in a high level of predictable spatial structuring in macroinvertebrate assemblages. Almost 40% of the variation in assemblage composition accounted for by the explanatory model exhibited spatial structure. Positive spatial autocorrelation in macroinvertebrate community composition extended to sites up to 150km apart. As a consequence, community composition could be described from northing and easting with 75% of the explanatory power of the eight physicochemical variables. Our study has confirmed the importance of the longitudinal gradient within catchments, as well as the geographical position of the catchment to macroinvertebrate communities. We have also demonstrated how quantifying the spatial structure in the dataset can improve our understanding of the factors influencing macroinvertebrate community structure.  相似文献

采用Mi Seq高通量测序技术对耐铜植物茵陈蒿根际的细菌16S r DNA基因V3—V4区片段进行了测序,研究了细菌群落结构的变化,并分析了其与土壤环境因子的关系。研究表明,采样点Cu3中细菌群落的多样性、丰富度、均匀度、ACE指数、Chao1指数等均显著低于Cu1和Cu2,但Cu3的覆盖度高于Cu1。排名前10的优势细菌门总相对丰度均在95%以上,其中8个优势细菌门在3个采样点中是相同的,包括Proteobacteria(变形菌门)、Acidobacteria(酸杆菌门)、Bacteroidetes(拟杆菌门)、Gemmatimonadetes(芽单胞菌门)、Actinobacteria(放线菌门)、Verrucomicrobia(疣微菌门)、Planctomycetes(浮霉菌门)和Unclassified(未分类门)等。采样点Cu1中变形菌门、拟杆菌门和芽单胞菌门的相对丰度显著高于其他两个采样点,而酸杆菌门、放线菌门、疣微菌门、绿弯菌门(Chloroflexi)和未分类门则刚好相反,表明细菌对胁迫环境的适应能力有明显差异。主坐标和冗余分析表明,3个采样点的细菌群落结构发生了明显改变。土壤环境因子与细菌群落的变化关系密切,8个因子的特征值共解释了97.5%的总方差。其中,总铜、总磷、p H、有效磷和有机质为显著性因子,可以解释93.9%的群落变化,但影响不同采样点细菌群落的主导因子有所差异。  相似文献

人类对次生林生态系统的长期扰动必然会对地下生态过程产生深刻影响,而土壤动物群落结构和功能多样性对地下生态过程的演变有重要的指示意义.本文以小陇山林区恢复近30年的次生林和栽植近30年的油松、日本落叶松、欧洲云杉和粗枝云杉林为对象,通过对5种林型土壤动物群落密度调查,采用PCA排序和方差分析等方法,探讨了不同林型土壤动物群落结构特征和营养结构.结果表明:油松林和日本落叶松林土壤动物群落密度是次生林的3.0和2.1倍;油松和日本落叶松人工林土壤动物群落中消费者/分解者比值明显高于次生林,油松林和日本落叶松林消费者/分解者的比值显著高于欧洲云杉林和粗枝云杉林;不同人工林土壤动物群落结构存在明显差异,油松林和日本落叶松林土壤动物群落密度是粗枝云杉林的4.5和3.1倍,而油松林土壤动物群落类群丰富度是欧洲云杉林和粗枝云杉林的1.5倍.  相似文献

Peatlands are important reservoirs of carbon (C) but our understanding of C cycling on cutover peatlands is limited. We investigated the decomposition over 18 months of five types of plant litter (Calluna vulgaris, Eriophorum angustifolium, Eriophorum vaginatum, Picea sitchensis and Sphagnum auriculatum) at a cutover peatland in Scotland, at three water tables. We measured changes in C, nitrogen (N) and phosphorus (P) in the litter and used denaturing gradient gel electrophoresis to investigate changes in fungal community composition. The C content of S. auriculatum litter did not change throughout the incubation period whereas vascular plant litters lost 30-40% of their initial C. There were no differences in C losses between low and medium water tables, but losses were always significantly less at the high water table. Most litters accumulated N and E. angustifolium accumulated significant quantities of P. C, N and P were significant explanatory variables in determining changes in fungal community composition but explained <25% of the variation. Litter type was always a stronger factor than water table in determining either fungal community composition or turnover of C, N and P in litter. The results have implications for the ways restoration programmes and global climate change may impact upon nutrient cycling in cutover peatlands.  相似文献

Characteristics of photosynthesis and respiration of bladelets were compared between Ecklonia cava Kjellman sporophytes growing in a warmer temperate locality (Tei, Kochi Pref., southern Japan) and in a cooler temperate locality (Nabeta, Shizuoka Pref., central Japan). Photosynthesis and respiration were measured with a differential gas-volumeter (Productmeter). In photosynthesis-light curves at 20°C, the rate of net photosynthesis was almost the same at light intensities lower than 25 μmol m−2 s−1 and the light-saturation occurred at 200–400 μmol m−2s−1 in plants of both localities. The light-saturated net photosynthetic rates were higher in winter and spring than in summer and autumn in both plants. The optimum temperature for net photosynthesis at 400 μmol m−2s−1 was 27°C throughout the year in the Tei plant and 25–27°C in the Nabeta plant. The decrease of net photosynthetic rates in the supraoptimal temperature range up to 29°C was sharper in winter and spring than in summer and autumn in both plants, being smaller in the Tei plant than in the Nabeta plant in all seasons. The dark respiration rate always increased with water temperature rise in both plants. No clear differences were found in the dark respiration rate between Tei and Nabeta plants except that when measured against dry weight, the Tei plant showed a slightly lower rate as compared with the Nabeta plant.  相似文献

【背景】微生物对环境有指示作用,微生物群落组成是水环境的研究热点之一。【目的】探究宁夏第三排水沟底泥细菌群落结构及空间分布。【方法】在底泥理化性质分析的基础上,采用MiSeq PE300测序平台对沟道及主要支流共11个采样点的表层底泥细菌进行16S rRNA基因扩增子测序。【结果】三排底泥呈弱碱性,底泥有机碳、全氮、全磷、氨氮和硝态氮等理化指标存在空间差异。平罗县段底泥有机碳、全氮和全磷均低于贺兰县和惠农区;下游惠农区段底泥细菌的物种丰富度和多样性明显高于上游贺兰县段,十二分沟与干流差异较明显。三排底泥优势细菌菌门为变形菌门(Proteobacteria,24.41%–44.40%)、绿弯菌门(Chloroflexi,5.46%-17.55%)、放线菌门(Actinobacteria,9.12%–21.21%)、拟杆菌门(Bacteroidetes,6.96%–13.10%)、热脱硫杆菌门(Thermodesulfobacteria,3.40%-12.20%)、厚壁菌门(Firmicutes,3.31%–14.61%)和酸杆菌门(Acidobacteria, 2.00%-9.77%)。...  相似文献

【背景】土壤微生物生态研究对于矿区污染生态影响调查和矿区生态恢复都具有非常重要的意义,高硫煤覆盖对其下方土壤微生物群落的影响目前尚不清楚。【目的】探究煤矿区长期高硫煤覆盖对其下方土壤细菌群落组成和多样性产生的影响。【方法】从高硫煤矿附近煤场采集3种类型土壤样品(高硫煤覆盖层、高硫煤下方土壤、对照土壤),通过测定土壤理化性质和运用高通量测序技术研究高硫煤覆盖对土壤性质和细菌群落产生的影响。【结果】与对照土壤相比,高硫煤覆盖使其下方土壤pH值降低,硫酸盐、有机质、有效氮、有效磷含量升高。高硫煤覆盖使其下方土壤中细菌的多样性指数降低,细菌群落组成发生了较大改变。在属水平上,与对照土壤相比,高硫煤下方土壤中Bacillus的相对丰度较高;Acidiphilium与Sulfobacillus在3个样本组中的相对丰度呈现为高硫煤覆盖层>高硫煤下方土壤>对照土壤,硫氧化菌在高硫煤中的优势地位及其对下方土壤的影响由此可以得到证实。共现性网络分析表明,Acidiphilium和Sulfobacillus在高硫煤覆盖区域的土壤细菌群落中占有重要地位,对其他细菌类群影响非常大。【结论】高硫煤覆盖及硫氧化菌的优势存在,对高硫煤下方土壤的理化性质及细菌群落产生明显影响。研究结果有助于增进对矿区土壤微生物生态的认识,为高硫煤矿区生态恢复治理提供微生物学理论基础。  相似文献

应用荧光定量PCR对冬季太湖不同湖区底泥表面有毒微囊藻和总微囊藻种群丰度进行调查,同时基于PCR-DGGE技术对底泥中有毒微囊藻群落结构进行分析。结果表明:微囊藻在太湖底泥表面分布广泛,所有采样点都检测到有毒微囊藻存在,且不同湖区有毒微囊藻和总微囊藻种群丰度存在显著差异,有毒微囊藻和微囊藻基因型丰度范围分别为1.23×104-3.75×106拷贝数/g干重和2.56×104-1.07×107 拷贝数/g干重,有毒微囊藻与微囊种群丰度的比例为4.8%-35.2%;DGGE指纹图谱显示,冬季太湖不同湖区表层底泥中有毒微囊藻群落结构相似性较高,相似性系数为70.2%-96.0%。虽然不同湖区基因型组成存在差异,但所有样品中占优势的基因型是一致的。同时发现,优势基因型所占的比例与样品的香农多样性指数呈负相关。序列分析表明,mcyA序列长度为291bp,序列相似性超过97%。综合定量PCR结果和底泥中叶绿素a和藻蓝素浓度的测定结果,可以得出2010年冬季太湖蓝藻越冬主要集中在梅梁湾、竺山湾、贡湖湾和湖心。通过建立荧光定量PCR分析方法,为研究湖泊底泥中蓝藻种群丰度动态变化奠定了基础。  相似文献

【背景】新型病原微生物层出不穷,放线菌作为最重要的抗生素生产菌仍受制于纯培养困难和菌种资源不足,而对于盐湖沉积物中的丰富放线菌资源却鲜有报道。【目的】探索巴里坤、七角井和台特玛盐湖沉积物放线菌群落结构及其多样性,分析盐湖沉积物中化学离子成分对放线菌群落的影响。【方法】每个盐湖采集5份样品并混合,使用SDS-CTAB抽提法提取总DNA,使用放线菌特异性引物进行PCR扩增并构建16S r RNA基因文库,每个样品随机挑选220个克隆子,经过Hae III酶切筛选后对阳性克隆子进行测序分析;对每个样品的8种主要化学离子进行检测,并将沉积物化学离子成分与放线菌群落进行关联性分析。【结果】获得的381个克隆序列属于143个操作分类单元(Operational taxonomic Unit,OTU),聚类结果显示从3个盐湖中共探测到37个放线菌属(台特玛盐湖:24;巴里坤盐湖:16;七角井盐湖:14)。3个盐湖共有的放线菌属为Aciditerrimonas、Aquihabitans、Demequina、Dietzia、Ilumatobacter和Amycolatopsis。从放线菌群落结构上看,台特玛盐湖与其他两湖差异性很大,巴里坤盐湖与七角井盐湖群落相似性更高,巴里坤、七角井和台特玛盐湖未知放线菌的组成分别为47.59%、53.07%和51.53%。利用RDA(Redundancy analysis)分析盐湖沉积物化学离子与放线菌群落的关联性,结果显示与Na~+、Cl~-和K~+相比,Mg~(2+)、Ca~(2+)、SO_4~(2-)、HCO_3~-和CO_3~(2-)与盐湖放线菌类群的相关关系要更加紧密。【结论】3个盐湖中具有丰富的放线菌多样性,包含大量的未知放线菌。盐湖沉积物不同的化学离子成分影响着各自独特的放线菌群落,可为开发新的盐湖放线菌资源提供依据。  相似文献

对典型垃圾填埋覆盖土进行CH4原位富集和三氯乙烯(TCE)驯化,研究了其生物氧化能力和微生物群落结构变化.覆盖土CH4氧化速率为0.20~0.87 μmol·g-1 soil·h-1,TCE降解速率为0.009~0.013 mg·L-1·h-1,其中山东垃圾填埋场覆盖土土样甲烷氧化活性高于广东、上海和重庆地区土样.通过Illumina MiSeq测序技术分析了α多样性和驯化前后微生物菌群结构变化规律.结果表明: 在所有被注释的操作分类单元聚类结果中,细菌OTUs分配为39个门,85个纲,562个属,富集驯化后变形杆菌门、拟杆菌门、绿弯菌门和酸杆菌门仍为各土样的优势菌群,所占比例之和高于77.4%;γ-变形杆菌纲、β--变形杆菌纲、α-变形杆菌纲、放线菌纲和酸杆菌纲所占比例之和高于26.5%.嗜甲基菌属、厌氧绳菌属、节杆菌属和假单胞菌属经TCE驯化后,其相对丰度呈增加趋势.表明在覆盖土氯代烃生物降解过程中,除了被广泛认可的甲烷氧化菌异养共代谢机制以外,还存在非甲烷共代谢机制和氯代烃自养降解机制.  相似文献

盐池四墩子拟步甲昆虫群落组成与环境因子的相关性   总被引:2,自引:0,他引:2  
2009年3-10月,对宁夏盐池四墩子不同植被类型和人工干扰强度的荒漠草地的拟步甲昆虫群落结构及其环境因子特征进行了调查, 采用多样性指数和典范对应分析(CCA)研究了昆虫群落与环境因子之间的相关性.共收集拟步甲10属20种,5431只,以弯齿琵甲、克小鳖甲和蒙古漠王占优势,分别占总数的47.30%、39.90%和3.59%.CCA分析表明:拟步甲与环境因子之间的相关性高达100%,提示盐池四墩子环境因子变化影响拟步甲的分布,植物群落多样性、植物生物量和土壤含水量对拟步甲昆虫群落的分布影响最大;从物种的分布状况看,谢氏宽漠王对环境最为敏感;小丽东鳖甲、宽突东鳖甲、尖尾东鳖甲、宽腹东鳖甲次之,与植物生物量、植被盖度呈负相关,戈壁琵甲、中华砚甲、网目土甲和淡红毛隐甲与植被密度和土壤含水量呈正相关,蒙古漠王、克小鳖甲、小皮鳖甲和异距琵甲与植物群落多样性呈正相关,奥氏真土甲、弯齿琵甲和达氏琵甲与植物生物量和植被盖度呈正相关;相关和回归分析结果也显示,拟步甲群落的活动密度与土壤含水量极显著正相关(r=0.943,P=0.005).同时,排序反映了拟步甲对生态环境的需求以及其在不同资源维上的生态分化现象.  相似文献

采用TWISPAN分析方法,对北京市延庆采矿迹地湿地40个样地51种植物进行了分类排序,将群落类型划分为7个类型,即茵陈蒿-狗尾草-黄花蒿群落、野艾蒿-茵陈蒿-尖叶胡枝子-狗尾草群落、野艾蒿-茵陈蒿-狗尾草-野大豆-苣荬菜群落、狗尾草-苍耳-黄香草木犀-虎尾草群落、狼拔草-野艾蒿-旋覆花-大籽蒿-芦苇群落、香蒲-芦苇-茭白-野大豆-鬼针草群落和竹节灯心草-褐穗莎草-稗群落;同时运用双变量主坐标分析(DPCoA)对51种植物进行了排序分析,研究结果显示研究区存在两种演替规律,即由喜湿旱生耐淹水植物演替为喜旱旱生植物和由湿地挺水植物向湿生植物演替两种类型.对于采砂基地型湿地植被恢复不仅恢复土壤营养条件,调控湿地水分条件也是十分关键的.研究结论将为采砂迹地型湿地恢复提供科学支持.  相似文献

A field experiment was conducted to determine the effect of disturbance frequency on diatom communities established on artificial substrates within an open canopy site and a closed canopy site of a 3rd order stream. The open canopy site (OCS) had a total of 80 diatom taxa colonizing the substrates, while the closed canopy site (CCS) had only 55 taxa. Cluster analysis revealed that the two sites had distinct diatom communities, although the most common species were similar between sites. There was no effect of disturbance frequency on species diversity (H') at OCS, however species diversity significantly decreased as disturbance frequency increased at CCS. At OCS, Amphora perpusilla increased in abundance as disturbance frequency increased, while Navicula lanceolata abundance decreased as disturbance increased. At CCS, Cocconeis placentula v. euglypta remained dominant regardless of disturbance frequency. The results suggest that some diatom species may be shade adapted, which may explain the site-specific responses. In addition, diatom growth-forms may explain the within site taxon-specific responses to disturbance. For example, Achnanthes sp. and Cocconeis sp., small horizontal forms, were predominant on the high disturbance substrates. Vertical or large horizontal forms may be mechanically removed by frequent physical disturbance allowing such small horizontal forms to become abundant. Frequent disturbance, by maintaining the community in an early stage of development, directly influences the diatom assemblage on rocks in streams.  相似文献
