作为生态服务提供者的传粉蜜蜂与景观生态息息相关, 而以农田为主的景观组成显著降低了传粉蜜蜂的多样性。目前调查研究显示, 农田的扩张与蜜蜂多样性下降相关, 且农药残留对蜜蜂损害严重。景观中的开花植物决定了蜜蜂的食物(营养)组成, 其中花粉蛋白含量与蜜蜂的生长发育紧密相关。尽管研究已证实景观环境会显著影响蜜蜂蜂群的发展和个体的生长繁殖能力, 但未来还需要加强景观组成变化直接作用于蜜蜂的机制研究。另一方面, 大量研究表明蜜蜂肠道共生菌是影响宿主健康的重要因素: 可促进宿主吸收营养和抵抗病原菌。作为传粉者, 蜜蜂接触到的主要外部环境——花粉和花蜜都含有特殊的微生物, 很多研究暗示花源微生物是蜜蜂肠道菌来源之一。研究表明景观环境相关的食物(营养)、农药残留以及环境微生物都会显著影响肠道微生物。现有少量的研究证明不同景观的蜜蜂肠道微生物有差异, 景观环境可能通过作用于蜜蜂肠道微生物进而影响蜜蜂健康。然而不同景观环境中的微生物, 尤其是花源微生物和蜜蜂肠道菌之间的关联有待证明。景观对蜜蜂肠道微生物的影响值得研究, 希望可以从肠道菌的视角鉴别对蜜蜂友好的景观环境, 进而指导土地合理利用和蜜蜂保护。  相似文献

肠道菌群在其宿主健康中发挥着各种各样的重要功能。蜜蜂是高度社会化的昆虫,其肠道菌群与大多数昆虫明显不同,由兼性厌氧和微好氧的细菌组成,具有高度保守性和专门的核心肠道微生物群。近年来的研究表明,蜜蜂肠道微生物群在代谢、免疫功能、生长发育以及保护机体免受病原体侵袭等方面起着重要作用,并已证实肠道微生物在蜜蜂健康和疾病中起着重要作用,肠道微生物群的破坏对蜜蜂健康会产生不利影响。本文综述了蜜蜂肠道菌群的特征及菌群定殖研究进展,介绍了蜜蜂的日龄、群体、季节等对蜜蜂肠道菌群定殖的影响,探讨了宿主的功能和新陈代谢对肠道菌群的影响。  相似文献

在长期的共同进化中,肠道菌群与其宿主形成了紧密的联系,为宿主提供了许多有益的作用。作为一种社会性昆虫,蜜蜂的生活习性为其肠道菌群提供了良好而稳定的传播途径,因此,蜜蜂与其肠道菌群形成了一种紧密的互惠互利共生关系。近年来,随着对蜜蜂肠道菌群了解的不断加深,对蜜蜂肠道菌群功能的研究也不断深入,大量研究表明蜜蜂的肠道菌群在宿主食物的消化代谢、宿主免疫的激活和抵抗致病菌、调节宿主生理等方面都有着重要的作用,同时破坏肠道菌群的稳定对蜜蜂的健康有着明显的负面影响。本文对近年来西方蜜蜂肠道菌群功能研究进行了总结,旨在为进一步深入探索蜜蜂肠道菌群与其宿主的相互作用及在养蜂生产上应用肠道菌群防控疾病提供参考。  相似文献

近年来有关肠道菌群的研究不胜枚举,肠道菌群从人类出生开始一直到生命结束都一直伴随着宿主,并在宿主的身体中发挥着重要作用。肠道菌群不仅直接参与宿主肠道内大分子物质的消化、小分子物质的吸收、肠道机体正常代谢和肠道内的免疫系统的调节,还能抵抗某些病原体的侵袭,甚至被称为"另一人类机体系统"。寄生虫学作为一个古老而又重要的科目,人类对于它的探索亦从未停止。近年来国内外学者关于肠道菌群与寄生虫之间关系的研究逐渐增多,寄生虫对肠道菌群的正向反馈作用正成为研究热点。本文就近年来国内外学者有关寄生虫与肠道菌群相互关系和作用的研究进展作一综述。  相似文献

目的炎症性肠病(IBD)包括克罗恩病(CD)和溃疡性结肠炎(UC),以持续性肠道非特异性炎症为特征,通常反复发作、迁延不愈,临床上仍无特效性的治疗手段。IBD确切的发病机制尚不清楚,涉及免疫、环境及遗传等因素,这些因素共同诱导肠道炎症、黏膜损伤和修复。肠道微生物群落及其代谢产物、宿主基因易感性及肠道黏膜免疫三方面共同参与了IBD的发病机制。本文从消化道微生态角度出发,对目前IBD相关的肠道微生物群落研究现状、宿主-微生物间免疫应答及益生菌治疗等内容进行探讨。  相似文献

Bumblebees play an important role in maintaining the balance of natural and agricultural ecosystems,and the characteristic gut microbiota of bumblebees exhibit significant mutualistic functions.China has the highest diversity of bumblebees;however,gut microbiota of Chinese bumblebees have mostly been investigated through cultureindependent studies.Here,we analyzed the gut communities of bumblebees from Sichuan,Yunnan,and Shaanxi provinces in China through 16S ribosomal RNA amplicon sequencing and bacterial isolation.It revealed that the bumblebees examined in this study harbored two gut enterotypes as previously reported:one is dominated by Gilliamella and Snodgrassella,and the other is distinguished by prevalent environmental species.The gut compositions obviously varied among different individual bees.We then isolated 325 bacterial strains and the comparative genomic analysis of Gillianiella strains revealed that galactose and pectin digestion pathways were conserved in strains from bumblebees,while genes for the utilization of arabinose,mannose,xylose,and rhamnose were mostly lost.Only two strains from the Chinese bumblebees possess the multidrug-resistant gene emrB,which is phylogenetically closely related to that from the symbionts of soil entomopathogenic nematode.In contrast,tetracycline-resistant genes were uniquely present in three strains from the USA.Our results illustrate the prevalence of strain-level variations in the metabolic potentials and the distributions of antibiotic-resistant genes in Chinese bumblebee gut bacteria.  相似文献

Social bees, like honeybees and bumblebees, have a close contact with nest mates of different developmental stages and generations. This could enhance bacterial transfer between nest mates and offers opportunities for direct transfer of symbionts from one generation to the next, resulting in a stable host specific gut microbiota. Gut symbionts of honeybees and bumblebees have been suggested to contribute in digestion and protection against parasites and pathogens. Here we studied the impact of contact with the bumblebee colony on the colonization potential of the bacterial families (i.e., Neisseriaceae, Orbaceae, Lactobacillaceae and Bifidobacteriaceae) occurring in the gut of adult bumblebees (Bombus terrestris). Bacterial profiles of the gut microbiota of B. terrestris were determined based on the hypervariable V4 region of the 16S rRNA using paired‐end Illumina sequencing. In our experiments, we created different groups in which we gradually reduced the contact with nest mates and hive material. We made 3 observations: (i) reducing the contact between the colony and the bumblebee during adult life resulted in a significant drop in the relative abundance of Lactobacillus bombicola and Lactobacillus bombi; (ii) Bifidobacteriaceae required contact with nest mates to colonize the gut of B. terrestris and a significant lower bacterial diversity was observed in bumblebees that were completely excluded from colony contact during the adult life; (iii) Snodgrassella and Gilliamella were able to colonize the gut of the adult bumblebee without any direct contact with nest mates in the adult life stage. These results indicate the impact of the colony life on the diversity of the characteristic bumblebee gut bacteria.  相似文献

There is evidence that in Europe and North America many species of pollinators are in decline, both in abundance and distribution. Although there is a long list of potential causes of this decline, there is concern that neonicotinoid insecticides, in particular through their use as seed treatments are, at least in part, responsible. This paper describes a project that set out to summarize the natural science evidence base relevant to neonicotinoid insecticides and insect pollinators in as policy-neutral terms as possible. A series of evidence statements are listed and categorized according to the nature of the underlying information. The evidence summary forms the appendix to this paper and an annotated bibliography is provided in the electronic supplementary material.  相似文献

Abstract. 1. The western honeybee, Apis mellifera, has been introduced to many parts of the world and is sometimes purported to be detrimental to native bees because it reduces their food base. It is seldom viewed in this light in Europe; however, when beekeepers maintain very high bee densities, the species could also be displacing insects in its native European range by reducing the resource base. 2. In England, populations of bumblebees (Bombus Latr. Hym.) have been decreasing both in terms of diversity and abundance, mainly because of a loss of habitat resulting from agricultural intensification. The impact of competition from other flower feeders is largely unknown. 3. Nineteen dry lowland heaths in southern England were sampled once for honeybees and bumblebees. Honeybee abundance varied from 4 to 81 bees per 100 m2 (mean = 30.89, median = 23), whereas bumblebees varied from 2 to 17 individuals per 100 m2 (mean = 8.26, median = 7), belonging to between one and five species. There was a negative association between honeybee and bumblebee abundance but there was no apparent relationship between honeybee abundance and bumblebee diversity. 4. The Bray–Curtis coefficient was used to compare the similarity in honeybee and bumblebee floral host breadth at these 19 sites. The coefficient was negatively associated with honeybee abundance: thus where honeybees were most abundant, bumblebees were fewer and/or foraged on different flower species. 5. Foraging host breadth was also examined at four heathlands over a field season (April to September). No association between honeybee abundance and foraging host breadth was found for short‐tongued bees, although there was some evidence for a change in floral host breadth for long‐tongued bees. 6. It is concluded that the impact of honeybees on bumblebees is complex. Although competition between the two species cannot be ruled out, it is perhaps equally likely that bumblebees decline in response to other factors, and that honeybees move independently of this decline.  相似文献

Trillions of microbes inhabit the human gut, not only providing nutrients and energy to the host from the ingested food, but also producing metabolic bioactive signaling molecules to maintain health and elicit disease, such as cardiovascular disease (CVD). CVD is the leading cause of mortality worldwide. In this review, we presented gut microbiota derived metabolites involved in cardiovascular health and disease, including trimethylamine-N-oxide (TMAO), uremic toxins, short chain fatty acids (SCFAs), phytoestrogens, anthocyanins, bile acids and lipopolysaccharide. These gut microbiota derived metabolites play critical roles in maintaining a healthy cardiovascular function, and if dysregulated, potentially causally linked to CVD. A better understanding of the function and dynamics of gut microbiota derived metabolites holds great promise toward mechanistic predicative CVD biomarker discoveries and precise interventions.  相似文献
