In the present work the extent and variation of Zn, Cd, Pb, Cu, and Hg loading in undisturbed surface soil (0–5 cm) and the vertical transport of the metals in soil profiles are studied in the vicinity of a zinc smelter in Norway. Three major controlling factors on the metal concentrations in soil have been assessed: 1) distance from the anthropogenic point source; 2) organic matter content (O.M.); and 3) the prevailing wind directions. Moreover metal distributions in proximal soil profiles in 1972 and 2003 are compared. Current concentrations of Zn, Cd, Pb, Cu, and Hg in surface soil reach 14000, 60, 980, 430, and 7.0 mg·kg ? 1 , respectively, near the smelter and decrease regularly with distance in the northerly direction according to the regression model (y = ax? b ). The Zn concentrations are significantly different from the background range up to 30 km from the smelter, whereas the other metals approach background at only 10 km distance. Subsurface concentration peaks of Pb, Cu, and Hg are found at greater depth in soil profiles than peaks of Zn and Cd. Levels of Zn, Cd, and Pb in surface soil seem to have decreased from 1972 to 2003, whereas for Cu the levels appear not to be significantly different.  相似文献

Abstract

A five-step sequential extraction procedure was applied to organic-rich soil samples from five soil profiles situated 1–8 km from a zinc smelter. The partitioning of Zn, Cd, Pb, and Cu into five operationally defined fractions (exchangeable, “carbonate’’-bound, reducible, oxidizable, and residual) was studied at different soil depths down to 35cm. In the surface soil (0–1 cm) a major part of Pb and Cu was extracted in the oxidizable fraction, whereas for Zn and Cd slightly more was extracted in the ‘‘carbonate”-fraction than in the other four fractions. Extracted metal proportions in the oxidizable fraction were respectively of the order of 30%, 20%, 50%, and 80% for Zn, Cd, Pb, and Cu in the surface soil for all sites, but these proportions decreased with soil depth. In the surface soil less than 20% of all the elements were extracted in the residual fraction, but the proportions associated with this fraction generally increased with soil depth. In the C-horizon, differences in extracted proportions of Pb and Cu in the residual fraction were probably due to geochemical factors, whereas for Zn the low extracted proportion at a highly contaminated site (20%) may be due to Zn migration to the C-horizon at this site. For Cd the extracted proportions in the C-horizon were lower than for the other elements, generally below 20%, presumably because Cd is weaker in terms of its adsorption to the soil than the other elements studied. Total concentrations of the metals decreased strongly with increasing distance from the smelter, but less systematic differences were observed for their distributions among fractions. Potentially bioavailable metal proportions (exchangeable + “carbonate”-bound fraction) in the surface soil were about 50%, 60%, 20%, and 10% for Zn, Cd, Pb, and Cu, respectively. In C-horizon soil the mobility sequence Cd>Zn>Pb = Cu was generally observed. The present results indicate that the concentrations and chemical fractionation of Zn, Pb, and Cd in these soils represent a considerable risk to natural terrestrial food chains.  相似文献

桂林市龙胜县作为罗汉果的三大主产区之一,种植区土壤重金属含量及罗汉果质量影响到该区罗汉果产业的健康发展。为探索龙胜县丘陵山区典型贫困村罗汉果园的安全性,该文研究了宝赠村典型罗汉果园土壤及罗汉果果实中砷、铜、锌、铅、镉、铬、汞7种重金属含量,并采用Hankanson指数法分析了其潜在生态风险。结果表明:(1)龙胜丘陵山区罗汉果园土壤(0~10 cm,10~20 cm)重金属含量均达到国家农业用地土壤筛选值标准(GB15618-2018),其中0~10 cm土壤中砷、铜、锌、铅、镉、铬、汞的含量分别为3.67、18.00、58.39、17.01、0.10、28.57、0.08 mg·kg-1,10~20 cm土壤中砷、铜、锌、铅、镉、铬、汞的含量分别为1.93、12.56、21.47、10.51、0.04、17.09、0.02 mg·kg-1。(2)在0~10 cm和10~20 cm土层中,重金属的生态风险状况总体上处于轻微生态风险等级,综合生态风险指数分别为105.29和38.96;0~10 cm土层不同重金属潜在的生态风险顺序为汞>镉>铅>铜>砷>锌>铬,汞、镉的生态风险分别为50.16、42.05,在总重金属风险中贡献率分别占所有重金属的47.6%和39.9%,已达中等生态风险等级;在10~20 cm土层中,7种重金属的生态风险大小关系为镉>汞>铜>铅>砷>铬>锌。(3)研究区罗汉果果实中砷、铜、锌、铅、镉、铬、汞的含量分别为0.00024、0.273、1.10、0.0016、0.00013、0.00013、0.00012 mg·kg-1,其生态风险状况均处于轻微风险等级,7种重金属的生态风险顺序为汞>铜>镉>锌>铅>砷>铬,综合生态风险指数为0.21193,几乎不存在生态风险。因此,在龙胜县丘陵山区典型贫困村——乐江镇宝赠村推广种植的罗汉果达到了安全质量标准。  相似文献

A herbaceous plant Polygonum arenastrum Bor. (=P. aequele Lindm., Polygonum aviculare ssp. aequale (Lindman) Ascherson & Graebner) (equal-leaved knotgrass), is a widespread, good coloniser, able to survive in wastelands where other species became extinct. Therefore, the bioindication abilities of this species for F, Cd, Co, Cr, Cu, Fe, Hg, Mn, Ni, Pb, and Zn were investigated. P.arenastrum was collected from 90 sites affected by six polluting factories: copper smelter, chlor-alkali plant, former ferrous-chromium smelter and active combustion smelter, power plant, cement plant and coke plant. Plant samples were collected at 0.75, 1.5, 3 and 4.5 km from each of these polluters in N, S, W and E directions. For comparison, a control site with 16 sampling points was selected in an area relatively free from pollution. Concentrations of Cr, Cu, Fe, Pb and Zn in shoots and roots positively correlated with those in soil (both total and plant-available). Cu, Pb and Zn in P.arenastrum were within the values reported in literature as toxic for other plants with the highest bioaccumulation factor (BF) from soil to shoots for Cr and the highest translocation factor (TF) from roots to shoots for Co and Pb for more and less polluted and control sites. Polygonum arenastrum has a potential to accumulate Cr even in sites with low chromium concentration in soil. Polygonum arenastrum does not show any form of shoot injury at increased levels of F and metals in its tissues. Based on these characteristics we conclude that the ubiquitous P.arenastrum may be utilised as a relevant indicator of contamination in industrial zones and may function as an early warning system of increased toxicity in the environment.  相似文献

选取亚热带典型的针阔混交林作为研究对象,从2009年至2011年每月进行凋落物的测定。结果表明:混交林年凋落物总量为(4634.723±337.1427) kg/hm2,且凋落叶(71.78%) > 凋落枝(26.24%) > 凋落碎屑(8.46%) > 凋落果(3.23%)。凋落总量的月变化趋势明显,在11月份达到了最大值1025.6 kg/hm2,而最小值出现在2月份138.606 kg/hm2。混交林凋落物中大量元素、微量元素含量差异显著。大量元素含量大小顺序:C > N > Ca > K > S > Mg > P,微量元素的含量大小顺序:Mn > Fe > Zn > Pb > Cd > Cu > Ni > Co。C/N的特征是:枝(66.96) > 果(63.48) > 叶(40.62)。森林凋落物养分的含量直接决定了其养分的归还量。樟树-马尾松混交林凋落物养分归还总量为80.936 kg/hm2。混交林凋落物各元素养分归还量大小顺序特征是:N > Ca > K > S > Mg > P > Mn > Fe > Zn > Pb > Cd > Cu > Ni > Co。各组分养分归还特征是:叶(67.469 kg/hm2) > 枝(14.928 kg/hm2) > 果(2.361 kg/hm2)。混交林中N的年归还量为40.964 kg/hm2,其中凋落叶的N归还量较大为34.877 kg/hm2。  相似文献

The effect of NTA (nitrilotriacetic acid) and elemental sulfur (S), two soil amendments suggested for the enhancement of metal phytoavailability in phytoextraction, on heavy metal uptake by Nicotiana tabacum (tobacco) and Zea mays (maize) were studied and compared in two Zn-, Cu-, Cd -, and Pb-contaminated soils from northern Switzerland. Experiments were performed in the greenhouse with topsoil (0 to 20 cm) material from two locations, Dornach and Rafz. The Dornach soil was calcareous and had been contaminated by dust emissions from a nearby brass metal smelter. The Rafz soil, free of carbonates, had been polluted by former sewage sludge application. Soil amendments with S increased the solubility (NaNO3 extraction) of Zn and Cd about 10-fold in Dornach soil and up to 30-fold in Rafz soil after 55 days. Zn and Cd removal by N. tabacum and Z. mays, however, increased only about 5.5- and 2.5-fold in these treatments in Rafz soil, respectively, while in the Dornach soil only a slight increase for Cd was found. Repeated NTA application increased soluble Zn, Cu, and Cd about 100-, 20-, and 19-fold in the Dornach soil and 13-, 4-, and 2-fold in the Rafz soil shortly after application. Soluble Pb was increased by NTA up to 50-fold in Rafz soil. After 90 days soluble heavy metal concentrations were only slightly elevated in both soils. Again, however, Zn, Cd, and Cu removal by N. tabacum and Z. mays increased only about 1.5- to 2.5-fold in the two soils, whereas Pb removal by N. tabacum increased about fivefold in the Rafz soil as a result of NTA application  相似文献

Pregnant Sprague-Dawley rats were used to determine the effects of the addition of 200 ppm of Cd (as CdCl2) to the diet factorially with two levels of dietary Ca (0.07% and 0.96%) on reproductive performance, concentrations of Cd, Cu, Fe, Zn, Ca and Mg in dam liver and kidney and in newborn progeny. High Cd significantly increased liver and kidney Cd, Zn and Ca and decreased liver Fe. High dietary Ca partially protected against accumulation of Cd in liver and kidney but had no effect on concentration of other elements. Number of live or stillborn pups per litter was not significantly affected by diet but high Cd significantly reduced pup birth weight. No grossly abnormal pups were noted. Concentration of Cd in bodies of newborn pups was increased approximately 8.6-fold by high Cd in the diet of dams fed the 0.07% Ca-diet and 3.8-fold by high-Cd in the diet of dams fed the 0.96% Ca diet. Pup, Zn, Cu and Fe contents were significantly decreased and Ca was significantly increased by high-Cd in the maternal diet whereas pup Mg content was unchanged. Maternal Ca intake had no effect on concentration of Zn, Cu, Fe or Ca in newborn pups. The biological importance of the alteration in maternal and fetal tissue concentration of Zn, Cu and Fe by high-Cd maternal diets is unknown.  相似文献

Summary Chemical analysis of samples of needles of Aleppo pine (Pinus halepensis), humus and mineral soil collected in the vicinity of the Pb-smelter in Lavrion, Attica, showed that an area of about 2 km around the smelter is heavily polluted primarily with Pb and also with Zn, S and F. Most of the Pb was found accumulated in the humus and the top layer of the mineral soil.About 50% of the Pb found in the samples of Aleppo pine needles could be removed by washing them in a dilute detergent solution. One and 15% of the total Pb from Pb-polluted soil and humus samples, respectively, was extracted with normal ammonium acetate solution. No Pb or a very small amount was extracted with distilled H2O from humus and soil samples treated with concentrations of Pb as high as 3000 ppm and incubated in the laboratory for 30 days.Humus samples treated with up to 1500 ppm Pb or Pb-polluted humus samples collected from points leeward of the smelter had no adverse effects on the germination of Aleppo pine seeds. When the germination experiment was conducted on Pb-polluted humus samples from points windward of the smelter, where a temporary pine needle death had been observed, the percentage seed germination, for two years, was found reduced and negatively correlated to the distance of the humus sampling point from the Pb-smelter.In nursery experiments Pb concentrations of up to 2000 ppm, added to a calcareous soil, had no adverse effect on height increase of Aleppo pine seedlings. Very little Pb was transported from the roots to the needles after seven months growth of the seedlings on either Pb-amended soil or on Pb-polluted soil from Lavrion. Concentrations of Pb in the roots of the seedlings, however, were found high in both cases and almost proportional to concentrations of Pb in the soil.  相似文献

It has been found that Sauropusandrogynus has a strong adaptive capacity in multiple heavy-metal-contaminated soils. Field trials in highly heavy-metal-contaminated soils were conducted to investigate the extraction efficiency of Cd, Cu, Pb, and Zn by S. androgynus. The yield of S. androgynus could reach 10.01 t ha?1, and the amount of Cd, Cu, Pb, and Zn extracted by the plant was 57.36, 218.57, 2078.11, and 19.64 g ha?1, respectively. S. androgynus removed 0.35%, 0.01%, 0.03%, and 1.37% of the total soil Cd, Cu, Pb, and Zn in one growing season, respectively. By comparing the extracting capability and yield with some hyperaccumulators reported in the literature, S. androgynus was considered to be a highly effective plant to extract heavy metals (Cd, Cu, Pb, and Zn). The plant should be useful for phytoextraction of soils contaminated by the heavy metals.  相似文献

Concentrations of the heavy metals Cd, Co, Cr, Cu, Fe, Mn, Ni, Pb and Zn were measured in sea water, suspended matter, sediments and pore water samples collected in a coastal area of the middle Tyrrhenian Sea. Concentration factors between pore water (extracted from the first centimeter of the sediments) and the overlying sea water (taken 30 cm above the sea bed) were less than 1 for Cr, Cu and Pb, 1–10 for Cd and Ni, 10–100 for Fe and Co, 100–1000 for Mn, and 1–100 for Zn.The benthic fluxes of heavy metals at the sediment-water interface were measured directly using in situ benthic chambers and calculated using Fick's first law during two experimental periods, one in 1986 and the other in 1988. The fluxes of Cu, Ni, Pb and Zn varied significantly over time; this appeared to be related to their relatively low ( 10) concentration factors. From the benthic chamber experiments, metals with positive fluxes were in the order: Mn > Fe > Co > Cd, while those with negative fluxes were: Zn > Pb > Ni Cu. Fluxes calculated using Fick's Law were: positive – Mn > Fe > Zn (or Zn > Fe) > Ni > Co > Cd, negative fluxes Pb > Cu > Cr.Measured (benthic chamber) and calculated (Fick's first law) fluxes for Co, Cd, Mn, Pb and Fe were comparable within an order of magnitude, although less agreement was found for Cu, Ni and Zn. Removal of Ni and Zn at the sediment-water interface has been proposed to explain the fact that the measured and calculated fluxes have opposite directions for these metals.  相似文献

Metal determination in human tissues is the most common application of biological monitoring for screening, diagnosis and assessment of metal exposures and their risks. Various biopsy-materials may be used. This paper deals with the quantitative determination of Cd, Pb, Cr, Mn, Fe, Ni, Cu, and Zn concentrations in nails of male subjects exposed to these metals alongwith their respective controls, while working in locomotive, carriage and roadways workshops, and lead battery factories. The levels of Cd, Pb, Cr, Mn, Fe, Ni, Cu and Zn in fingernails, assayed by atomic absorption spectrophotometry, were compared with their respective controls by student ‘t’ test. All the obtained values were correlated to the personal and medical history of the subjects under study. Significantly high levels of Cd, Pb, Cr, Fe, Ni, Cu and Zn were present in smokers, compared to nonsmokers. The concentrations of Cd, Pb, Cr, Mn and Fe were not significantly high in vegetarian subjects. It was also observed that there is no contribution of liquor towards nail-metal concentration. Significant correlations were observed between skin disease and Cr, Mn, Fe, Cu; hypertension and Cd, Mn, Cu; mental stress and Cd, Pb, Mn, Ni, Cu, Zn; diabetes and Cr, Mn, Ni; chest pain and Pb; respiratory trouble and Cr, Mn, Fe, Ni, Zn; tuberculosis and Zn; acidity and Cd; and ophthalmic problems and Mn, Fe, Ni, and Zn  相似文献

We analysed the concentrations of Cd, Co, Cr, Cu, Fe, Mn, Ni, Pb and Zn in the water, sediments, fish and plants of the River Hindon, U.P., India, at seven sampling stations, in the year 1982. Considerable variation in concentration between water, sediments, fish and plants were noted. The concentration in the water was in the order Fe > Zn > Cr > Mn > Cu > Pb > Ni > Co > Cd, in the sediments, Fe > Mn > Zn > Ni > Cr > - Co > Cu > Pb > Cd; in a fish (Heteropnuestes fossilis) Fe > Zn > Mn > Pb > Ni > Co > Cu > Cd > Cr, and in a plant (Eicchornia crassipes) Fe > Mn > Zn > Ni > Cu > Cr > Pb > Co > Cd.  相似文献

Phytostabilization aims to reduce environmental and health risks arising from contaminated soil. To be economically attractive, plants used for phytostabilization should produce valuable biomass. This study investigated the biomass production and metal allocation to foliage and wood of willow (Salix viminalis L.), poplar (Populus monviso), birch (Betula pendula), and oak (Quercus robur) on five different soils contaminated with trace elements (TE), with varying high concentrations of Cu, Zn, Cd, and Pb as well as an uncontaminated control soil. In the treatment soils, the biomass was reduced in all species except oak. There was a significant negative correlation between biomass and foliar Cd and Zn concentrations, reaching up to 15 mg Cd kg?1 and 2000 mg Zn kg ?1 in willow leaves. Lead was the only TE with higher wood than foliage concentrations. The highest Pb accumulation occurred in birch with up to 135 mg kg ?1 in wood and 78 mg kg ?1 in foliage. Birch could be suitable for phytostabilization of soils with high Cd and Zn but low Pb concentrations, while poplars and willows could be used to stabilise soils with high Cu and Pb and low Zn and Cd concentrations.  相似文献

The effect of the secondary electrode configuration in removal of metal contaminants from soils under coupled electric hydraulic gradient assisted by ion exchange medium (CEHIXM) process was investigated. Soil samples using a blend of spent foundry sand and millpond sludge were used to investigate the contribution and cost-effectiveness of the secondary electrode configuration in removal of primarily four heavy metals (Pb, Cd, Zn, and Mn). A number of tests were conducted at an optimum constant DC electric voltage of 50 V and an optimum constant flow velocity of 0.00713 cm/sec for a period of 200 hours. The experimental results demonstrated the removal efficiencies of approximately 89.84% of Pb, 96.63% of Cd, 92.89% of Zn, and 91.14% of Mn with the primary electrode (PE) configuration. In case of the secondary electrode (SE) configuration, the removal efficiencies were about 87.34% of Pb, 91.68% of Cd, 95.30% of Zn, and 90.44% of Mn. In the case of the combined PE and SE configuration, the removal efficiencies were about 90.16% of Pb, 93.27% of Cd, 96.34% of Zn, and 90.44% of Mn. The energy expenditures were about 480 kWh/m3 and 522 kWh/m3 of soil in the case of the PE and the SE configurations, respectively. It appeared that the use of the SE configuration and/or combination of the PE and SE configuration was not cost-effective and advantageous over the use of the PE configuration in removing heavy metals from the contaminated soils by the CEHIXM process.  相似文献

富集重金属的枯落物分解可能提高重金属暴露率,增加人体接触健康风险。为了解南方城市土壤重金属在森林生态系统中的分布及流转情况,通过调查研究了佛山市8个典型森林群落土壤及枯落物重金属含量,分析了各森林群落枯落物对不同重金属的富集效应及重金属随枯落物回归土壤流通量。结果表明:1)城市森林各土壤重金属含量在不同典型群落间差异显著(P<0.05),差异最大为Pb、Cr、Zn,As、Cu、Ni次之,Hg、Cd最小;土层深度(0-20,20-40,40-60 cm)对重金属含量影响显著(P<0.05),差异最大为Cd、Hg,其次为As、Cu,最小为Zn、Ni、Pb、Cr。整体上,Cd、Hg、As、Pb、Zn在0-20 cm最高,表层富集特征明显,Cr和Ni在40-60 cm最高。2)8个森林群落中阴香-白楸-醉香含笑群落(CMMC)枯落物对8种重金属的综合富集系数(TBCF,66.76)最高,其中以Cd的富集效果最突出,富集系数为44.45,且对Pb、Cu、Zn也相对富集;最低的为黧蒴锥-香椿-樟树群落(CTCC),综合富集系数(TBCF)为8.09,仅对Cd、Cr、Cu相对富集,对其余重金属富集效应不明显。3)相关分析显示,群落重金属枯落物流通量与0-60 cm土壤重金属平均含量(Cr和Ni除外)无显著相关性。本研究对城市森林建设管理及筛选重金属富集植物及群落具有较强理论及实践意义。  相似文献

Copper,Lead, Cadmium,and Zinc Sorption By Waterlogged and Air-Dry Soil   总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1  
Competitive sorption of copper (Cu), lead (Pb), cadmium (Cd), and zinc (Zn) was studied in three soils of contrasting chemical and physical properties under air-dry and waterlogged conditions. Competitive sorption was determined using the standard batch technique using six solutions, each with Cu, Pb, Cd, and Zn concentrations of approximately 0, 2.5, 5, 10, 20, and 50?mg L?1Waterlogged soils tended to sorb higher amounts of added Cu, Pb, Zn and Cd relative to soils in the air-dry condition; however, this increase in sorption was generally not statistically (p<0.05) significant. The magnitude of sorption under both waterlogged and air-dry conditions was affected by the type and amount of soil materials involved in metal sorption processes, and competition between other metals for the sorption sites. Metal sorption was closely correlated with soil properties such as cation exchange capacity, organic carbon, and Fe and Mn hydrous oxides. Exchangeable Al may have markedly reduced metal sorption due to its strong affinity for the sorption sites, while increases in exchangeable Mn may have enhanced Zn and Cd sorption. Heavy metal sorption was best described as a combination of both specific and nonspecific interactions. The extractability of Cu, Pb, Cd, and Zn under waterlogged and air-dry conditions was also studied. Three solutions containing these metals were mixed with each soil to achieve a final concentration of 0, 50, and 500?mg kg?1. Each soil was extracted every 7 days using 1?M MgCl2 (pH 7) to determine metal extractability. Metal extractability initially decreased then increased due to waterlogging. The increased extractability of added metals was closely related to increased solubility of Fe and Mn suggesting that dissolution of Fe and Mn, oxides under reducing conditions caused a release of previously sorbed Cu, Pb, Cd, and Zn.  相似文献

利用地统计学和GIS相结合的方法,对河北省迁安市农田土壤耕层(0~20 cm)8种重金属含量的空间变异性进行了研究.结果表明,农田中8种重金属含量均值未超过土壤环境质量(GB15618-1995)二级标准,属于中等变异.Cu、Zn、Ni、Cr和As含量的变异函数理论模型符合指数模型,空间相关程度强;Hg和Cd含量的变异函数理论模型符合球状模型,空间相关程度中等;Pb含量具有纯块金效应,空间相关程度弱.在整个研究尺度上,Pb含量具有恒定的变异,其余7种重金属含量由空间自相关部分引起的空间变异性起主要作用,空间相关距离为11~20 km.用普通Kriging方法对Cu、Zn、Ni、Cr、Hg、As和Cd含量空间局部插值表明,北部山地重金属含量较高,而中部盆地重金属含量较低.  相似文献

Toxicity of the effluent generated at the Rajrappa coal mine complex under the Central Coalfields Limited (CCL, a subsidiary of Coal India Limited) in Jharkhand, India was investigated. The concentrations (mg L?1) of all the toxic metals (Fe, Mn, Ni, Zn, Cu, Pb, Cr, and Cd) in the coal mine effluent were above the safe limit suggested by the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA 2003). Among these, Fe showed the highest concentration (18.21 ± 3.865), while Cr had the lowest effluent concentration (0.15 ± 0.014). Efforts were also made to detoxify the effluent using two species of aquatic macrophytes namely “‘Salvinia molesta and Pistia stratiotes.” After 10 days of phytoremediation, S. molesta removed Pb (96.96%) > Ni (97.01%) > Cu (96.77%) > Zn (96.38%) > Mn (96.22%) > Fe (94.12%) > Cr (92.85%) > Cd (80.99%), and P. stratiotes removed Pb (96.21%) > Fe (94.34%) > Ni (92.53%) > Mn (85.24%) > Zn (79.51%) > Cr (78.57%) > Cu (74.19%) > Cd (72.72%). The impact of coal mine exposure on chlorophyll content showed a significant decrease of 42.49% and 24.54% from control values in S. molesta and P. stratiotes, respectively, perhaps due to the damage inflicted by the toxic metals, leading to the decay of plant tissues.  相似文献

This experiment was conducted to investigate the potential risk of toxic elements in paddy soils and rice straws, bran, and husked grains in Kuchesfahan, Gilan, Iran. The average content of total and DTPA-extractable of Cd, Cu, Fe, Mn, Ni, Pb, and Zn were 7.0, 26.3, 20728.8, 1516.7, 43.8, 16.6, and 211.8?mg kg?1, and 0.32, 14.1, 97.3, 63.4, 1.7, 4.8, and 56.2?mg kg?1, respectively. In addition, the average content of Cd, Cu, Fe, Mn, Ni, Pb, and Zn in rice grain was 0.16, 2.4, 135.5, 34.1, 2.0, 0.6, and 15.0?mg kg?1, respectively. The average transfer factor for Cd, Cu, Fe, Mn, Ni, Pb, and Zn from soil to straw was 0.38, 0.16, 0.004, 0.13, 0.3, 0.04, and 0.09, respectively. The average values of estimated daily intake for Cd, Cu, Fe, Mn, Ni, Pb, and Zn through rice consumption for adult are respectively, estimated to be 0.0004, 0.005, 0.32, 0.08, 0.005, 0.0015, and 0.035?mg kg?1 body weight per day. There was no health risk index (HRI) values for adult greater than 1 (except three samples for Fe, and one sample for Mn and Cd); indicated that intake of single metal through the consumption of rice was safe. The average of heath index (HI) value for rice consumption was 0.33 and 0.35 for adult and children, respectively. Therefore, combination of several potentially toxic elements may not cause risk to local residents. Spatial distributions of HRI were obtained for potentially toxic metals in husked grains.  相似文献

Recently hatched fry of brown trout were exposed to each of eight trace metals (Al, Cd, Cu, Fe, Mn, Ni, Pb, Zn) and to a mixture of all eight, at concentrations typical of soft acid waters, in flowing artificial soft water medium at pH 4·5 and 6·5, for 30 days. At pH 4·5, in the absence of trace metals, net uptake of Ca, Na and K and skeletal calcification were impaired but mortalities were low (10%). At pH 4·5, in the presence of Al, Cu, Pb and Zn individually and the mixture, mortalities were high (87–100%). Cd, Fe, Mn and Ni at pH 4·5 each caused some mortalities (17–43%) and impaired skeletal calcification. At pH 6·5, each of Al, Cd, Cu, Fe, Mn, Pb and the mixture of metals impaired net Ca uptake and (except Al, Fe and Pb) skeletal calcification. Net K uptake was impaired by Al and by the mixture, and less severely by Cu and by Fe. Net Na uptake was impaired by Al and by the mixture, and less severely by Fe and by Mn. The role of trace metals other than Al in fisheries'decline in soft acid waters is discussed.  相似文献
