水狼蛛属Pirata是以需要水分为其生境特征的一类蜘蛛。目前,全世界共记录了该属蜘蛛约86种,其中我国报道了13种。近年来,作者对我国水狼蛛进行系统整理时,发现了二新种与一新纪录种。 小齿水狼蛛,新种Pirata denticulata sp. nov. (图1—6)

Systematic revision of Hoggicosa Roewer, 1960, the Australian ‘bicolor’ group of wolf spiders (Araneae: Lycosidae)

The Australian wolf spider genus Hoggicosa Roewer, 1960 with the type species Hoggicosa errans (Hogg, 1905) is revised to include ten species: Hoggicosa alfi sp. nov. ; Hoggicosa castanea (Hogg, 1905) comb. nov. (= Lycosa errans Hogg, 1905 syn. nov. ; = Lycosa perinflata Pulleine, 1922 syn. nov. ; = Lycosa skeeti Pulleine, 1922 syn. nov. ); Hoggicosa bicolor (McKay, 1973) comb. nov. ; Hoggicosa brennani sp. nov. ; Hoggicosa duracki (McKay, 1975) comb. nov. ; Hoggicosa forresti (McKay, 1973) comb. nov. ; Hoggicosa natashae sp. nov. ; Hoggicosa snelli (McKay, 1975) comb. nov. ; Hoggicosa storri (McKay, 1973) comb. nov. ; and Hoggicosa wolodymyri sp. nov. The Namibian Hoggicosa exigua Roewer, 1960 is transferred to Hogna, Hogna exigua (Roewer, 1960) comb. nov. A phylogenetic analysis including nine Hoggicosa species, 11 lycosine species from Australia and four from overseas, with Arctosa cinerea Fabricius, 1777 as outgroup, supported the monophyly of Hoggicosa, with a larger distance between the epigynum anterior pockets compared to the width of the posterior transverse part. The analysis found that an unusual sexual dimorphism for wolf spiders (females more colourful than males), evident in four species of Hoggicosa, has evolved multiple times. Hoggicosa are burrowing lycosids, several constructing doors from sand or debris, and are predominantly found in semi‐arid to arid regions of Australia. © 2010 The Linnean Society of London, Zoological Journal of the Linnean Society, 2010, 158 , 83–123.

河北和辽宁晚侏罗世古蝉化石(同翅目:头喙亚目)(英文)

本文描述古蝉科化石2新属、6新种,即Liaocossushuegen.etsp.nov.,L.beipiaoensisgen.etsp．nov,L．exiguusgen．etsp．nov,L．fengningensisgen．etsp．nov,L．Pingquanensisgen.etsp.nov.,Miracossusingentiusgen．etsp．nov.。这批化石保存有完整的虫体标本,使作者能够进一步研究古蝉类化石的虫体特征。化石采于冀北和辽西晚侏罗世义县组地层中,保存在中国地质博物馆。     

Cryptic,adaptive radiation of endoparasitic snails: sibling species of <Emphasis Type="Italic">Leptoconchus</Emphasis> (Gastropoda: Coralliophilidae) in corals

Coral reefs are renowned as complex ecosystems with an extremely large biodiversity. Parasite-host relationships contribute substantially to this, but are poorly known. We describe the results of a study in which approximately 60,000 corals were searched for parasitic Leptoconchus snails (Gastropoda: Coralliophilidae) in Indo-West Pacific waters of Egypt, the Maldives, Thailand, Palau and Indonesia. We discovered an adaptive radiation of 14 snail species, each of which lives in species-specific association with one or more of 24 mushroom coral species. The 14 snail species are described as new to science under the names Leptoconchus inactiniformis sp. nov., L. inalbechi sp. nov., L. incrassa sp. nov., L. incycloseris sp. nov., L. infungites sp. nov., L. ingrandifungi sp. nov., L. ingranulosa sp. nov., L. inlimax sp. nov., L. inpileus sp. nov., L. inpleuractis sp. nov., L. inscruposa sp. nov., L. inscutaria sp. nov., L. intalpina sp. nov., and L. massini sp. nov. Their separation is based on indisputable molecular differences, whereas the rudimentary shell characters or impoverished anatomical details do not allow identification. The coral hosts also serve to distinguish the snail species, as none of the former was found to contain more than one of the latter. The complexity of coral reefs is still underrated, as is shown here by the application of DNA taxonomy as an indispensable approach to unravel cryptic radiations, which must be known in order to understand the functioning of the ecosystem.

记述采自云南西双版纳细颚猛蚁属LeptogenysRoger 5新种 :黄帝细颚猛蚁L .huangdiisp .nov .,盘古细颚猛蚁L .panguisp .nov .,庄子细颚猛蚁L .zhuangziisp .nov .,老子细颚猛蚁L .laoziisp .nov .,孟子细颚猛蚁L .mengziisp .nov .。在同一地区发现中国新记录种 1种 :粗角细颚猛蚁L .crassi cornisEmery。编制了细颚猛蚁属中国已知 13种的工蚁分种检索表。提供了除勃固细颚猛蚁L .peuqueti(Andre)外 12个种的详细特征图。中国已知种类被划分为 4个种组 :粗角细颚猛蚁种组L .crassicornis group ,中华细颚猛蚁种组L .chinensis group ,条纹细颚猛蚁种组L .diminuta group和庄子细颚猛蚁种组L .zhuangzii group。     

New beetle species of the genus Lasiosyne (Coleoptera, Lasiosynidae) from the Late Jurassic and Early Cretaceous of Russia and Mongolia

Six new species of the genus Lasiosyne Tan et al., 2007, the type genus of the family Lasiosynidae Kirejtshuk et al., 2010, are described from Jurassic and Lower Cretaceous deposits of Mongolia and East Siberia: L. shartegiensis sp. nov., L. insculpta sp. nov., L. longitarsa sp. nov., L. cataphracta sp. nov., L. punctata sp. nov., and L. decora sp. nov. A modified diagnosis of the genus is proposed.
