| 摘 要： | 大皱鳃金龟甲Tremalodve grandis Semenov是陕北沙区一种重要地下害虫。除本省外,内蒙古、甘肃、宁夏等省(区)的沙区亦有分布。该虫食性甚杂,对多种沙地植物能造成严重危害,已成为陕北沙漠绿化治理工作的一大障碍。该虫在榆林沙区两年发生一代,以幼虫或成虫在深层沙土中越冬。成虫7—8月份羽化,当年不出土,翌年春上升地面,取食植物芽、卧及嫩茎,为害期3个月左右。幼虫取食根皮、截根,在地下为害长达400余天。提出以营林措施为主的综合防治方法:成虫取食紫穗槐枝叶可中毒致死,营造固沙林时,带状栽植紫穗槐围隔或间隔杀虫;成虫产卵盛期前,以5%西维因粉喷杀之;播种前以50%单拌磷

| Abstract: | The scarabid Trematodes grandis is an important insect pest in agriculture and forestry. Aside from Shaanxi Province, it distributes also in the desert areas of Nei Mongol Autonomous Regiom, Ningxia Hui Autonomous Eegion and Gansu Province. It has been a great obstruction for managing sandy land in the northern part of Shaanxi Province because it may seriously damage many species of psammophytes and herbage.The beetle takes two years to complete a generation in Yulin Prefecture and winters in deeper layer of sandy land either as larva or adult. The adult emerges from July to August, but it may remain in the soil for the rest time of the year. The beetle has degenerated hind wings and cannot fly. In the early spring of the next year the adult gets out from the ground and causes damage to vegetation.The damaging period of this insect lasts for three months. The larva feeds on the root cortex or cuts off the roots. Though it has only three instars, it grows very slowly and needs as long as 400 days to complete development.The following measures were found to be effective for controlling this beetle:1.The shrubby false indigo Amorpha fruticosa is poisonous to the insect. When it is planted around the forest and nursery bed it can allure and kill the insect.2.Seeds of Hedysarum scoparium soaked with 7.5% phorate emulsion would kill the larvae coming to them so that more than 60% of the seeds could be saved.3.Dusting 5% carbaryl or manually collecting the adults could also be effective. |
